The Paper Fic (Phan)

Part 1

It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon in London England. Dan and Phil were very bored in their flat downtown. It was one of those "stay indoors" days, but they couldn't exactly agree on what they should do. "We should make square flakes!" Phil exclaimed. "Nooo Phil those are boring! And plus it's not even winter" Dan argued. It went back and forth like that for over ten minutes before Phil solemnly looked at their collection of books on the shelf and says "Dan, we've run out of other options. It's book time bitch" Dan sighs sadly as he walks toward the bookshelf. "Hey Phil? Did you know we had a Shel Silverstein poem book?"
"WE HAVE TO READ IT DAN! GET IT DOWN WE ARE READING SOME POETRY *makes giraffe noise* lets do this"
Dan gets the book down excitedly asking if Phil has read any of his poems.
"Actually...yeah... Um when I was in high school I entered a poetry competition and I had to memorize a poem, and it was um, Shel Silverstein.. I still remember it, do you want to hear it? Yeah you do. You have no choice. It's fabulous" *makes hippo noise*
"Um, okay.."
Phil stands up and stares at Dan dramatically before reciting the first line..
"Who wants a pancake?"
Phil walks over to Dan and whispers in his ear "don't worry, it's Delia Smith"
"Sweet and piping hot
Good little Dan looks up and says,
"I'll take the one ontop"
Who else wants a pancake *delia smith*
Fresh off the griddle?
Terrible THERESA looks up and says,
"I'll take the one in the middle!""
Phil looks back to Dan and is not surprised to find Dan curled up into a ball on the floor wiping his face with tissues
"Phil baby that was beautiful!!" Dan cried. Dan ran into phils arms and gave him a biiiggg kiss.
"Phil you should do poetry more often!"
"Dan it wasn't that great.."
But Dan knew that this would be something he would never get enough of..
