Chapter 4: A New Start

{Ayla's P.O.V}

I woke up early the next morning just in time to catch Sting making breakfast. He's such a softy, I stand behind him expecting him to notice me soon.

He turns around with a smile on his face and jumps almost dropping all the food, "Oh, it's just you.." Sting sighs relief.

I start to burst out laughing. Sting face goes all red, he's cute like this. I take a seat at the table. I don't see Rogue or Frosche around, "Where's your other roommates?"

"They went to the guild early. I'll be going soon too." Sting tells me as he sits down across the table. So he won't be staying home. I guess I could go do something too.

Sting eats his food quickly by shoving it all in his mouth. Lector and Sting head out the door without saying goodbye or cleaning up the mess. I sigh heavily, "What have I gotten myself into?"

I finish eating and start cleaning the dishes and the kitchen up. Once it's sparkling clean, I head out the door. I actually thought Sting would live somewhere else instead of an apartment.

"Lucy, cheer up! She's a criminal." I hear a familiar voice say. I look towards the bridge and see Lucy and her friends. I wonder if she's still looking for me.

"Hey guy! Look it's–"

"Cherry Blossom Tornado!" I whisper quickly sending all of them flying into the water. I run straight back towards the apartment.

{Lucy's P.O.V}

"Ow, what the heck was that?" I say rubbing my behind, "Great, these clothes were brand new."

"Who would do this? We weren't harming anyone by just standing.." Gray says getting up like its no biggy. I then notice that he's lost his pants and shirt.

"Gray, your clothes." Erza says causing Gray to jump out of the water and search for his missing items.

"It was Ayla, she was watching. I went to say 'Hi' but she blew me away and started running." Happy explains sadly, so Ayla is still in town. I'm glad she hasn't gotten that far.

I hear footsteps coming towards us. Natsu, Erza, and Gray strike a fighting position as they get out of the water. The three people come into the light and it seems like it's just Sting and his friends.

He gives us a confused look, "What's up with your friends, Lucy?" Sting asks, I sigh and then explain to him exactly what happened.

"So you're basically looking for Ayla? I heard that she's staying with Sting-kun and Rogue-kun." Yukino tells me, we all go into shock.

"Could you possibly take me to her? Just me, those idiots over there are bound to start a fight." I ask Sting and Rogue, the nod and I follow them.

I give a death glare towards the idiots making sure that they don't follow me too. They all head back towards the guild, seems like Erza is going to keep them put.

We arrive at the apartment room and I head in, "Oh! Sting and Rogue welcome–"

"Hi Ayla.." I say nervously, looks like she's frozen up, "I've just come to visit and talk to you."

"Well I've been meaning to talk to you too." Ayla says bringing me into the living room. She doesn't bother to sit down. Seems like this is going to be a quick conversation, "I'm still taking jobs as an assassin. I murder people everyday."

Lucy face goes into shock as well as Rogues and the exceed's. Seems like Sting knows exactly what I'm doing.
