Chapter 5: Bloody Start

{Ayla's P.O.V}

"Y-You're lying!" Lucy says in fear.

"Why would I lie about such a thing?" I say.

"B-But didn't you stop!?" Lucy questions keeping her distance from me.

"I need the money Lucy." I tell her. "Since I got kicked out its the only thing I can do to earn money."

"Can't you take another job?! You're killing innocent people!" Lucy starts to get really angry.

"This job pays a lot of money." I smirk.

"You're a terrible person!" Lucy shouts at me and then leaves the building.

A Couple Minutes Later~

"We can't let her stay here!" Rogue suddenly snaps.

"She's lying." Sting says trying to calm Rogue down.

"What? Sting-kun, that's impossible!" Lector joins in.

"It's not impossible. She was saying that because she wanted to get Lucy to leave and make her not come around her anymore." Sting explains.

"That's stupid! Couldn't she just tell her that instead of 'lying'?!" Rogue rages

"No. Lucy would still come back." Sting says with an serious expression.

"I'm sorry! I've caused trouble for you! And a misunderstanding!" I apologize to them. "I'll leave if you want me to."

"N-No please don't!" I stare at Sting. Why would he want me to stay?  Sting then starts to blush.

"Are you sure?" I ask making sure it's ok if I continue to stay.

"I'm positive." Sting smiles.

"This is such a pain. Frosch lets go." Rogue says irritated. They both then left the building too. Sting sighs hardly. He then averts his gaze to me.

"I know you did that to Lucy for a reason but, you should apologize Lucy. She may tell someone." Sting says strictly.

"I know what I have to do." I sigh. "will you come with me?"

"Of course." Sting beamed.

At Fairy Tail Guild~

I can't believe I came back here. I start to walk towards the entrance of the guild. I then hear crying. As I got closer the crying got louder. I think it's Lucy. Since she's crying that means Natsu and her friends might be really pissed. I slowly open the door.

|Lucy's Pov|

The door opens. Everyone in the guild averts they're gaze to the now completely open door. There stands Ayla looking guilty as heck. Crap! If they found out that Ayla did this they might do something bad to her.  Ayla then starts to walk over to me. The guild gives her dirty looks and evil glares.

"Lucy." She says.

"Y-Yes?" I reply. Ayla looks really serious..

"I-I'm sorry. I lied. I actually did stop but, after I leave I want to never see you again." She says seriously.

"Huh? Why?!" I ask shocked at what she was saying.

"It could get dangerous..sorry." Ayla then looks at me then starts to walk out of the guild to Sting who was watching her the whole time.

"Lucy, did she make you cry?" Natsu says enraged.
