A week went by and you didn't get better. Everyone around you noticed it. Fans noticed it. Literally, everyone who saw you can see that you're not coping with it well. Jungkook too. The boys knew how painful it was to make that decision.
You were on set for the drama you're acting on but all you could think about was going home and just lay in bed all day. You were forced to the set by your members as they didn't want you to spend anymore time alone in your room.
When you arrive on set, there were paparazzis outside the gate waiting to get a glimpse of you. They knew about the break so they were all trying to get an update about you since you've been very private and secretive.
When filming an emotional scene, it seemed so easy for you because it was how you felt. Tears were easy to flow out as you were vulnerable and sensitive. When you start crying, you couldn't stop. Chaeyon, the second lead, understood you and comforted you.
"I can't do this" you said crying.
"It's okay Y/N, it will get better trust me" she said.
"I want to see him, I need to see him" you cried even more.
She lets you cry it all out. The paparazzi captured the moment since you guys were filming outdoors. You tried hard to hold back the tears and stop crying but you couldn't. Everyone watching the video could feel your pain. The fans watching the video felt guilty. They felt as though they were the reason why you felt that way.
Army too realised how quiet Jungkook has been. When they were filming for Bangtan Bomb, he would be at the corner alone on his phone or just staring out to space. Everyone could see that he had something in his mind and it was bothering him. The fans were afraid that he would lose himself because of the break.
After a few days of trending their ship name, the fans wanted them to get back together after realising how miserable they look without each other. Finally, the fans realised how much they love each other.
Jungkook couldn't handle it anymore. He tried to ignore his feelings but everything reminded him of you. You're everywhere. He was too used to being around you, having you with him always and to not have you around him for weeks, made him feel like something was missing every single day.
"Jungkook ah, why are you doing this to yourself?" hobi asked after seeing how miserable their maknae looked.
"I don't know hyung.. i thought it would be better for her but I don't think it is better for any of us" Jungkook said honestly.
"Then go back to her. Talk to her." he said.
"She will probably push me away. I hurt her" Jungkook said.
"She loves you Jungkook. I'm sure she would listen to what you have to say" he said.
Jungkook thought about it for awhile, until he realised he couldn't wait any longer. He was already missing you like crazy. He quickly rushed out the room and head to the car to drive to your place. Hobi just smiled at the maknae finally doing something for himself and not for others.
You were home after the long day of an emotional rollercoaster. They ended your schedule shorter because they knew you needed it. You were homed, showered and ready to lay in bed and stare at the ceiling.
You heard the front door open. You thought it would be one of the girls or the house cleaner so you ignored it and laid on your side and looked out the window. It was drizzling hence the room felt colder than usual.
Your bedroom door open but again you didn't think much about it thinking it was one of the girls checking up on you.
"I'm just lying in bed unnie, i'm tired" you said.
"Y/N" Jungkook called and your heart almost stopped. You turned around and actually saw Jungkook standing by your door.
"Jungkook? What are you doing here?" you asked sitting up slightly.
Jungkook just joined you on the bed and pulled you into the tightest hug. He had been longing for it ever since.
"I'm so so so sorry" he cried.
He hurried his head in your neck while you were still trying to process what was happening. You felt his tears fall on your shoulder but you couldn't care less.
"What's wrong?" you asked.
"I'm so sorry for thinking we needed a break. I'm so sorry for putting you through this. I'm miserable without you. I cannot function properly. Everything reminds me of you. I need you forever and I actually do mean it" he said.
"I thought the break would help you because of all the hate you were still receiving. I thought the fans would stop if they knew we took a break. I just wanted you to be happy. I really did think it would help with the situation, but it wasn't helping any of us, how we feel" he continued.
"And i'm really sorry I put you through this. I'm sorry for saying I didn't love you. I fvcking do, so much." he said.
You pulled his face away from your neck and cupped his face so that he was looking at you. He was full on crying, nose red and eyes puffy from crying hard.
"I love you so much. Thank you for thinking about me. But I hope you know that the idea of taking a break was stupid" you said.
Jungkook chuckled slightly and nodded.
"I love you. Please, don't do that to me again. I'm really trying to look past the hate comments. I want the relationship to work. I want you to be there with me as I go past that phase" you said.
"I will be with you through it all baby, i promise you" he said sniffling.
"That's all I ask from you. Stick with me. I love you so much" you said.
"I love you so so so much." he said before hugging you again.
"You pabo... told me that you don't love me anymore, do you know how painful it was for me to hear that?" you scolded.
"Yah... I was trying my best to lie" he said.
"Pabo" you mumbled as you two fall back on the bed and cuddled with each other until you both fell asleep in the arms of your lover again.
