Ava POV

I was in the principal's office along with Lucas as the principal called us to talk about the fight incident happened.

"So what do you have to say about that?" Asked the old principal placing his elbows on the table in front while fingers locked.

"They attacked me first." I said having my head a bit low as I respected him because he was elder. But corrupted as well. He was nothing else than the dog of those rich pals.

"So you mean to say those bodyguards attacked you first even you did nothing? Is it?" His tone turned sassy while eyes dark and I know he was trying to blame me.

"Give me an appropriate reason Miss Ava. Or I can suspend you for months." He threatened.

I've already told him about how that dickhead was forcing me and using me for his bet but still he was there asking me for a appropriate reason.

"They- they were bullying me sir." Suddenly I heard Lucas say to that old which made me turn towards him.

He had his normal face on. No expression. Hanging his head low, he added.

"They were bullying me and she saved me. That's why they began to beat me and she was just helping me." He lied.

The fight had no him until he decided to save me which wasn't necessary. Those men came for me as I ruined that disgusting face of their boss's son.

I was at loss of words. All I could think about why he was saving me? Why he was talking a blame of something he didn't do? Why he was lying? To save me?

"That's........sad. I-i'm sorry. But you should've informed any teacher instead of starting a fight. I'll handle that matter." The principal seemed nervous as he showed how sorry he was that students weren't safe in his college.

We left the office and I immediately approached my next class as it was awkward for me. Noone till today ever helped me and I knew no-one will ever because if how cold and rude I behave with them and especially my anger issues.

It was easy for me to get raged up whenever I heard them talking something related to me even if it was good. No matter what, I never wanted people to talk bout me. In any way.

But today, when a nerd helped me when I never helped him whenever someone bullied him or made fun of him.... It was really awakwrd.

I was in my class at my usual seat but I could hear whispers all around as the news of Lucas saving me had already spread like fire in forest.

They all were talking about why he saved me because all of them knew what was the fight for. And I'm sure they're gonna bully him for it as they won't even think of me for any elaboration because they were already damn afraid of me.

But I really never needed his help. I had trained enough to defend myself from those stupid attacks of rich kid's bodyguards. So it was really never needed.

My mind was full of thoughts and I knew I needed to clear those stupid thoughts. He helped me so he just did. I never asked him. That was the point.

I shrugged all the thoughts away focusing on the chapter teacher was teaching.

It was lunch break and I was heading to the park near college because I never liked to eat in between those annoying brats. Whenever I stepped in the canteen, they would just stare at me awkwardly. They just never knew how to mind their own businesses.

So that's why I always spent my time in the park watching kids play. They were calming enough to cool the boiling temperature of my mind.

I was exiting the college when I heard some voices from behind the bushes. Maybe someone having fun with bitches.
