The Birth of Antonio Madrigal

                           (3rd PoV)

"FELIX!"

"¡Viene mi vida!"

(Translation:Coming my love!)

     It has been 4 years since that day Pepa told Camilo about Bruno. Surprisingly, not a lot has changed in the Casita. Isabella always picks on Mirabel while Camilo stands up for her & becoming closer to her. However, today is different. Today is the day that there will be an addition to the family of Madrigal.

"I WANT THIS BABY OUT OF MY STOMACH RIGHT NOW!" Pepa screeched before the town started to hear thunder as the gentle breeze started to pick up speed uncontrollably.

          Dolores, Camilo's older sister, was covering her ears as she sighed. She could never get enough peace & quiet which hadn't happen since she was age 5. Her father did tried to help by giving her 25 ear muffs but it had accidentally been burned to a crisp by lightning that her mother caused. Which had caused Abulea to scold her mother, making things worse. Well, at least Mirabel was making her new ear muffs for Christmas.

"I hope this baby doesn't end up like Mirabel." Isabella muttered to herself.

Dolores & Camilo whipped their hands & stared at Isabella while speaking at the same time. "Shut up Isabella. "

Luisa sighed. "This again?"

"What, we were all thinking it. "Isabella sassed with a shrug.

     Mirabel was guided by the Casita to her sisters & cousins. Mirabel quietly chatted with Camilo as she never really felt like she was . . . Appreciated by everyone else. To her, they were all annoyed by her presence . . . But everything stopped when Dolores spoke.

"Guys . . . Mom stopped yelling." Dolores said quietly.

     Everyone remained in silence. They all waited in anticipation. To the world, seconds had only passed. To the children, hours had went by. That is, until they heard a baby crying.

Julieta walks to them. "We now have a healthy baby boy to add into this familia."

(Translation:We now have a healthy baby boy to add into this family. )

     Casita slid them all to the delivery room. They all huddled around each other & saw a baby boy crying in Pepa's arms. They all cooed at the baby. The baby was still sobbing as most babies do. That is, until the newborn saw the close knitted cousins known as Camilo & Mirabel before reaching towards them.

Pepa saw this & frowned. ". . . Antinio, I'm your madre . . ." She mumbled.

"Antonio?" Felix asked in surprise.

Pepa nods head. "Yes, Antonio."

      The baby than screamed as he sensed that he wasn't being held by the cousins. Everyone winced as the screams & cries got louder. He wailed as he tries to reach for Mirabel & Camilo. This continued until Dolores finally snatched the baby away & gave it to her younger brother & his favorite cousin, which immediately caused him to be silent.

Mirabel blinks as she held Antonio with the shape shifter. "Umm . . . ?"

Antonio giggled which caused Camilo to smile as he also held him. "He ain't so bad."

" . . . That's enough for Mirabel to be holding Antonio, Camilo, take the baby from her." Abulea said coldly.

"But-" Camilo started to say.

"Camilo. "Abulea repeated as her eyes hardened.

"Sorry Mira . . ." Camilo mumbled as he took Antonio away from his favorite cousin slowly & gently.

"It's fine Cami . . . "Mirabel spoke softly to him as she let him do so.

     Antonio than started to cry again, though it wasn't as loud again. Still, it was still pretty noisy. He than was given back to Mirabel quickly who continues to cry. Camilo tried to ignore the glare that Abulea gave him as prayed for Antonio would quieted down, which he did not. The baby boy still shedded tears until the Casita made Camilo held the baby with Mirabel, which ultimately caused the baby to stop sobbing & started to giggle adorably.

" . . . I guess this means that Camilo needs to move back into the nursery so Antonio stops crying." Luisa spoke awkwardly.
