I wake up, i have a million calls from Jeremy, so i head straight to the lake house. I walk and see Elena helping Matt, and Jeremy is looking out the window.

"What happened?" I asked. "What do you think, Evie. Your petty boyfriend turned people into vampires and made Jeremy kill them, if not, they would kill me." Matt shouts. "Matt, don't blame it on her..."

"Why not Elena! it is her little perfect relationship that she's in—" Matt says, i'm pretty sure i want to kill him myself right now. "My relationship with him is far from perfect, so maybe if you would shut your mouth sometimes, you would know more stuff.."

Damon walks in. "See you and Klaus are still in a fall out."

"We are working on it Damon."

"What the hell were you thinking!" Elena yells to Damon since he agreed with Klaus on Jeremy killing all of those vampires. "All i asked you to do was to teach him how to fight."

"He's not the best student in the world." Damon says. "Wait. Now this is my fault?" Jeremy slightly shouts. "Stop... talking."

"Look. I know you're angry, but my way was the easiest, fastest, and safest way to complete his mark to get you the cure." Damon says. "I don't care about the cure, Damon, not if it means putting the people that i love in danger."

"Hey. There would've been no danger if he hasn't gone all bleeding heart." Damon says, looking at Jeremy. "He killed someone. These were innocent people."

"But the mark grew, didn't it?"

Elena sighs, knowing Damon is right. "Ok. Look. We need a plan. There's a group of compelled vampires out there, and as soon as the sun goes down, they're gonna come after Matt, so we have to find a way to protect him."

"Yes, i know, but there will be no problem when big Jer and I here go on a hunting expedition... Elena, i know it's tragic, i get it, but we also agreed that he has to kill them. Now we have added incentive, so you take the least most valuable player home, and me, Jeremy, and Evie will finish this."

"Now you are going to take Evie with you!" Elena says. "Ok Elena, 1. she doesn't like Matt, neither do I. 2. She's strong, and knows how to use weapons, she's needed."

"You really think they went back to the bar?" Jeremy asks. "Where else are they going to go? It's all cabins and vacation homes. They can't get in Anywhere" Damon hands him weapons.

"Fine. Let's get this over with." Jeremy says. "Listen. just go one at a time, only shoot for the heart, don't hesitate, and don't miss" Damon says with sass in his voice, i roll my eyes. "Jer, just don't get scared, and stay calm, cause if you get scared and shake you will miss and they will kill you, and if anything goes wrong... That's why i'm here." I say, pulling out my bow and arrow just in case.

We walk into the bar and see blood leading to the back room. "something's not right." Damon says. "No shit Damon, thanks for stating the obvious." Damon rolls his eyes, but Jeremy laughs a little. We walk in and see a bunch of dead people.

"what the hell happened?" Jeremy says. "I confess." I hear... Kol. "I did it." Kol says. "Jeremy, good to see you, mate. Sorry about the mess. It was a little crowded when i arrived, and I prefer more intimate gatherings. We 4 need to have a little chat."

"Care for a drink?" Kol says, pissing Damon off. "They are underage and i don't like you, so let's just cut to it."

"My brother bragged about his plan to complete Jeremy's hunters mark. It was easy enough to track this lot down. they were all hiding in the shadows. Now killing young vampires is easy or old ones for that matter."

"Why? what's it to you either way?" Damon asks. "Because, you fools, in your zeal to find the cure, you risk waking someone very dangerous."

"Are you talking about Silas?" I ask, trying to get into the situation. "What do you know of him?" Kol asks.

"Nothing. don't want to, not our problem." Damon interrupts me. "Isn't it? A few hundred years back, i came across a group that worshipped Silas. His followers told me that he would rise again, and when he did, he would trigger the end of all time."

"Well we're not backing off on finding the cure because you were told one too many scary bedtime stories, you idiot." Damon says, after Kol goes on and on about not raising Silas.

"Jeremy, we were mates in Colorado. you're a smart lad. Why don't you call off this imbecilic treasure hunt?"

"I'm not calling anything off, mate." Jeremy replies. "Well, i could kill you, but then, i'd have to with the hunters curse, and I—I don't particularly feel like being haunted for the next century. Better idea! I'll just hurt Evie, your sister." He says speed vamping to me

But Damon attacks him before Kol attacks me. "Jeremy, Evie, Run!" He shouts. I start running but Kol speed runs in-front of me. "You're staying..."

(Not your POV)

Elena goes to Klaus for help. Jeremy called her saying that Evie and Damon are in trouble, with Kol.

"And my little brat of a brother has gone and made things worse. Well he never did like Damon. I suppose i should do something, shouldn't I?" Klaus says.

"You should, since i also forgot to mention, Your brother has Evie, and won't even think twice on hurting her." Elena says, and Klaus' smile fades

He goes and calls Kol.

He's been yelling, and Kol has been saying stuff about Damon, but not Evie. "And don't you touch The Gilbert boy, Or Evie."

"I won't touch Jeremy, you have my word. But Evie, no promises"

Klaus gets up and runs to get Evie

(back to your POV)

He just compelled Damon to go and Kill Jeremy. "Go on Damon, go find Jeremy. Meanwhile, i'll have my fun with Evie."

"I know i can't compel you , but i can torture you." Kol says, smiling.

"So, news has spread, You and Klaus aren't doing too hot." Kol says, knowing this will piss me off. "we are working on it."

Kol grabs me by the neck against a wall. I have no idea why people like doing that to me. "You know your relationship will never work, and— won't get too far, considering you two are opposites."

"good thing opposites attract then." I say, getting out of where he was holding me by staking him with one I had in my pocket. "Missed." He says and laughs. He comes after me and I snap his neck. "And that's how it's done.", I'm say to myself, and I see Klaus out of the corner of my eye, smiling, proud of what i did.

"opposites do attract, love." He says as i run up to him. I feel his lips touch my forehead, which did get my heart beating more fast, and he just smiles. "Let's go, it's disgusting in here." He says, making me laugh...
