todays the decade dance. We are doing the 20's, which wasn't Caroline's idea. Since my bestfriend is Caroline, i have to help her set up, it's like the law in Caroline's mind

"so Alaric is trying to pull himself together. Why is that a bad thing?" Caroline asks Elena. "I just wish there was something i could do... where do you want me to hang this thing?"

"you know what... if Rebekah wanted to hang this monstrosity, she should have shown up to do it herself... just... no." Caroline says hanging it to a girl.

"what are you doing! you can't just hang them. They're supposed to trickle down." Me and Elena laugh, so do Matt and Jeremy.

"look at them all bromancey." I tell my sister and my best-friend. "yeah i asked matt to help Jeremy readjust. He got his old job back at the grille."

"Jeremy is so stressed, the whole thing with Alaric has got him really stressed out."

"you sure it had nothing to do with witnessing you and Damon getting hit and heavy in a skeevy motel?" I laugh. Caroline should be glad she wasn't there when it happened.

"I didn't tell you that so you could torture me with it." Elena replies back to Caroline. "ah, what are friends for?"Elena chuckles.

"sooo, who are you guys bringing to the dance?" Caroline says.

"What do you mean?" Elena says. "I thought we and Bonnie were going as girl dates."

"umm what about me?" I ask. "Well isn't Klaus your date" Caroline says. I smile. "true." They both laugh. "ok Elena, Bonnie has a date, Jamie called and wanted to see her, so she asked him."

"So here's a thought. Why don't you ask Stefan?" Elena gets nervous a little, knowing she's leading both the brothers on. "I- I can't ask him on a date. I just made out with his brother."

"All the more reasoning." I furrowed my eyebrows. How can she reason this. Elena is leading both of them on, and they don't deserve that.

"Like, you're supposed to be figuring out what you want. That's what Stefan wanted you to do, right?" Caroline says. "Yeah, but—" Caroline interrupted Elena. I can tell Elena feels bad.

"But nothing. I've watched The Bachelor. Ok, fair is fair. It is Stefan's turn."I laugh. We all know how Caroline hates Damon. "you're definitely not biased or anything..." I chime into their conversation.

"Elena, you can ask him. You went Damon went to Denver to figure out your feelings, and you're still confused. Asking Stefan out to a school dance won't hurt." I tell my sister, knowing she would listen to me since i'm not Biased about the Salvatore brothers.

Me and Elena are getting ready. I'm wearing a rose gold dress, with a headband that looks like the 20's and a necklace. "So when's Stefan coming?" I ask her. "He should be here any moment... Is Klaus coming.."

"I actually don't know.. I totally forgot to ask him." As I say that, there's a knock on the door. "I'll get it." I go get the door. "hey Stef-" It was Klaus. "expecting someone else?" I laugh. "Thought it was Stefan.."

"ready?" He asks me. I smile. He drives us to the school. "Hope nothing goes wrong at this decade dance." I said. So far, i haven't had one good decade dance, with vampire drama and what not . "we'll have fun... even if it turns into a disaster."

He kisses me on the forehead. I love when boys do that. It really shows you how much they care for you.

"Some me some moves." I tell him in excitement. "ok, ok... come." Klaus says, not wanting to dance at a high school decade dance. The song changes a couple seconds later, to a slow song. "How's Elena and Stefan doing?" Klaus asks me, making conversation. "It's tricky. As you know... Something happened on our trip to Denver and she doesn't know who she wants to be with.."
