Elena is at the lake house with Matt and Jeremy, while i'm with Klaus watching Damon in the cell Stefan put him in.

"Hello mate." Klaus says. "What the hell are you guys doing here?" Damon replies. "Baby sitting." Klaus says. "oh... mm."

"give him a vial of blood every couple of hours so he doesn't desiccate. If he gets too much strength back, or if he just annoys you... bleed him out again."

"Silent treatment... huh— He's still pissed at me for sleeping with Elena." Damon tells us. "Are you sure about that? Because i caught him trying to sneak out of Rebekah's bed this morning which would suggest to me he's moved on." Klaus says, while Stefan scoffs. I look at Stefan, mostly annoyed.

"Well, well. Looks like my brother ripped out a page of my revenge sex handbook." When Damon says that, i laugh because it's very true.

"Ok- why don't you guys enjoy your villain bonding time, Evie... keep them in check. I'll let you know when i get the dagger from Rebekah."

"I don't want to just dagger Kol. I want Jeremy to kill him." Elena says on the phone with Stefan. Stefan starts his motorcycle, making background noise. "What did you just say?"

"Bonnie says she's got all this crazy new power. She thinks she can hold him long enough for Jeremy to get a clean shot." Elena says. "And then what, huh? Klaus and Rebekah will kill every single one of us out of spite. They may be dysfunctional bickering lunatics, but they stick together no matter what." Stefan raises his voice at Elena.

"That's why you need to find the dagger and use it on Rebekah. She can't come looking for revenge if she's laying in a box." Elena replies back. "Yeah i can't do that."

"I know you can't because vampires can't use the dagger, but Matt can. It's not like she doesn't deserve it. And Bonnie thinks that she can get Klaus out of the picture too, at least temporarily."

"Wait, Klaus? What about Evie? We will just deal with Klaus, we aren't getting rid of him for Evie's sake." Stefan says, but Elena sighs. She obviously wants him gone, and doesn't care who she hurts, even if it is her sister. "Elena, Evie's your sister, we keep Klaus alive. And fine, i'll help."

"You know, none of this would be an issue if you'd have just done your job properly. I was perfectly willing to let you train Jeremy."

"No, you weren't. Are you kidding?" Damon shouts.

"I'll be upstairs finding something to eat." I say, i haven't eaten all day, i kind of don't want to pass out— again.

"Do you know how hard it is to get these x-box brains to focus?" Damon says, continuing his chat after i leave. "And then when i turned a room full of barflies into vampires for him to slaughter you let Kol kill then."

"Your brother problem, not mine, buddy."

"And whose bright idea was it to saddle Jeremy with a conscience, hmmm?" Klaus asks, knowing the answer. "Well, i couldn't have him trying to stake Elena in her sleep, now, could we?"

"Ah, yes, for the love of Elena. How is it that she manages to overlook every horrific thing you've ever done? Is it willful ignorance or something more pathological." Klaus says.

"Some people are just more capable of forgiveness than others. Bet you score about a negative 500 in that realm." Damon replies. "Come on. There must be a secret. It can't just be the sire bond. What is it? Compulsion? manipulation? What is it that you say to her that makes it perfect?"

Damon sits up, realizing who he is referring to. "I think this has something to do with a certain human Who is capable of protecting herself. I think you murdered Carol Lockwood and I think you're worried that your relationship with Evie won't work out, since you killed her friends mom, well ex friend now. And that's why you two had a fall out the other day."

"You've done worse..."

"Debatable." Damon replies back. "See, i don't mind being the bad guy... because somebody has to fill that role and get things done. You do bad things for no reason. You do them to be a dick."

"Debatable." Klaus replies.

I walk back to where Damon and Klaus are, and i hear them going back and forth, and i knew it was going to last a while. "Still... it must be hard trying to live up to Stefan."

"I remember when i compelled him to feed on Elena—"
"Actually, you wanted him to feed on me, but he did stab himself and held himself back for Elena." I say, interrupting him.

"Same difference, anyways, He fought so hard, he actually managed to resist. Now that's love."

"What do you know about love?" Damon says. "I know a lot about love, and i know that you're in love with Elena." He says, looking at me, which made me smile. "But i think you're afraid of what might happen when we find the cure at the end of the rainbow. Personally, i don't see a fairytale ending for you."

Klaus gets a call from Kol. He hangs up on him, mad. "Evie do you know what's going on?" He says, raising his voice. "No, i've been with you legit all day." I say, scared for what he is actually talking about.

"What the hell is going on!" Klaus yells at Damon. "I don't know." Damon replies. "What is Stefan and Elena planning."

"I don't know. I've been stuck in the penalty box with you since yesterday. Stefan won't talk to me and Elena won't come to see me. So maybe you're right. maybe she's written me off."

Klaus sighs. "Stay here till I return, Evie... come" Klaus says as i run to catch up with him.

"What happening Klaus!" I shout, as he still isn't telling me. "Elena and Jeremy are trying to kill my brother. Are you sure you didn't know?"

"yes, Elena doesn't tell me when she does stuff now. We aren't as close as we use to be. I promise."

"Don't worry Evie, i believe you, let's just hurry."

We run and see Kol with a stake in him, and on fire because it is White Oak. I see Elena and Jeremy scared, and Klaus tearing up a bit.

"What did you do?" Klaus says. "We—we didn't have a choice. He was trying to cut off Jeremy's arm." Elena replies. "Lies."

"He never would've gotten inside if you hadn't have set a trap for him."

"You said you were gonna put him down, too."

"I was gonna make him suffer on my terms!" He shouts, then Klaus sighs. "I want to burn—" He gets interrupted by Bonnie pushing him into my house, and spelling him into my living room, for a couple of days .

"Witch, you can't do this to me."

"you have no idea what i can do now." Bonnie says. "I will hunt you all down to your end!"

"No you won't." Bonnie says looking at me, being the reason that he won't.

I know Klaus is hurt, and he doesn't want to show it to me, so i just give him a hug, complete silence that lasted the whole night in my living room...
