"Fuck off already. Couldn't you see I was busy?" Katsuki quipped as he dodged a swipe. Endeavor's scowl quickly became the highlight of his day. Zuko growled.

A very good perk of having dogs was read heroes were hesitant to attack the animals. Especially with the media always around to record.

Cherry was a little ways down there alley, keeping watch in case another hero decided to drop down from behind him.

Katsuki's palms crackled as he landed a blow on the hero, making the man stumble back a few steps. He wasn't cut out to fight the number two hero, so he kept a sharp eyes, looking for potential escape routes.

It was a little difficult, seeing that he could only use his peripheral vision to search. His focus was on surviving without being taken in.

"You don't stand a chance, give up and turn yourself in" The hero taunted, attempting to distract Katsuki and pull him from his calm focus. It didn't work.

"Ah yes I'll put that on my to-do list"

Flames roared as they were sent at him. Zuko was too close, so he blocked his partner, blasting most of the fire back away from them. The damage, however, was definitely going to severely hinder him.

"You're out of you're league, villain"

"It seems I am" Katsuki returned after a pause. His body was trembling with exhaustion and pain. He still couldn't find a way out. Was he finally going to be caught?

They'd take his dogs back to where they were before. He wasn't going to let that happen.

"Zuko," he addressed the dog, "get out of here. Cherry too"

The black coloured dog gave a whining bark before the sound of the dog running was heard Katsuki almost sighed in relief. The League would be able to care for his dogs.

The sound of running, however, was oppositely of what he'd asked for. A black blob streaked past him, flying at the hero with teeth bared. Endeavor gave a terrifying scowl as he shoved the dog off. Puncture sounds from Zuko's teeth let blood seep out of the hero's costume. The growl Zuko gave was loud and it echoed off the nearby buildings. A helicopter sounded and both Endeavor and Katsuki glanced up.

It was an unmarked helicopter, it gave no signs of who owned and operated it. While they hero had been distracted by Zuko, he'd collected his sweat. He wouldn't be able to leave one of his safe houses for a while to let everything heal.

Making a clicking sound, he signaled Zuko time back off. The dog did so as he swapped places. He let out a large explosion that burned his palms. They now bled profusely.

A bark came from his left and Katsuki made a quick glance. Cherry had found an escape route it seemed.

With dust and smoke clouding their area from his explosion, Katsuki followed the sound of her bark as silently as possible.

"Good girl" He mumbled as he patted her head, ruffling his hand to make her ears flop around. It left a slight bloodstain. He followed her lead, Zuko right next to him in support as they moved, silently escaping into the maze of back alleys. His dogs had picked up a scent to follow and led him to safety. Cherry led them to his closest safe house, taking a more weaving path through the buildings to make sure they were less likely to be followed. Katsuki kept his bleeding hands tucked into his abdomen. He couldn't leave a literal trail of blood.

When they got to the safe house, Cherry unlocked it, grabbing the key in her teeth and seamlessly turning it in the door's lock. Katsuki had taught them for situations like this and boy was he thanking his past self. With his hands so slick with blood and his body trembling, he would've taken much longer than her to get the door open.

Zuko pushes him in and Katsuki laid his hand up to the door to push it back closed, relocking it. That would need to be cleaned later. He stumbled to the bathroom and turned on the tub, filling it with barely cool water.

As much as he desperately wanted to take a cold bath and cool off these burns, he knew that would cause more trouble than not.

He sunk into the water, his villain outfit quickly becoming soaked. Slowly removing it and scrubbed most of the immediate blood off was something his body protested. He'd take care of the actual stains later.

Katsuki took in the state of his torso. Burns laced the skin, overlapping the scars from previous fights.

A hiss escapes his lips as he ran water over the burns. He didn't dare scrub at the blood covered area. Instead, he took a cup and used it to slowly run water over it.

Cherry got into the bath, she loved baths, and he scrubbed at her head, using his soap to do so after sitting up enough to keep the water further away from the burn to make sure to keep splashes from keeping the wound from getting soaked in the soapy water for extended time.

His palms burned as he scrubbed at her fur, the cloth in his hand slowly bleeding from an orange to a bright red. The water was a light pink, even the minimal bubbles bearing the colour.

"Don't think you're getting out of this bud. You're next" He told Zuko, who had his snout resting on the edge of the tub. Zuko wasn't fond of baths. But, that being said, the dog always gave in and let himself be washed in a bath occasionally. The dog preferred showers where the water was running compared to the bath, where the water was still. Zuko gave a huffing snort.

"It'll be quick" Katsuki promised as he rinsed off Cherry with the cup, scooping and dumping the water. Her tail was thumping against the side of the tub. She really lived baths.

Zuko's own tail was wagging as well as the black coloured dog retrieved a towel. Katsuki never minded the slight drool on the items they delivered, it was far from the grossest thing he'd experienced.

"Good boy" He grinned. After Zuko was clean, he'd finish cleaning himself up and bandage his chest and palms with ointment.

He wondered if he should have ramen or a salad tonight. Perhaps a salad, he could share that with them.
