Chapter 6

Here I sat at a table I was all to familiar with when I heard the door open and hurried foot steps making there way past the meeting room
I clapped my hands and the lights came on. They all came into the room and had a seat.
" hello Jamie, Hope, Reese, Devin", I said as I waved
" where the hell is he," Jamie said as she maid her way up to me and put one hand around my neck pushing me up against the wall.
I let out a small moan just enough to make her blush.
"Now Jamie I knew you had a crush on me but I didn't know you where this freaky", I said as I bit my lip
"Let her for", Reese said," we need her alive to find Alec".
Jamie reluctantly let go
"Thank you Reese glad to see someone still has their brain".
"Where is he", Hope said.
"No", I said," I'm not just going to give over his location like that. Not when you've all caused us so much pain
"Us", I heard devins deep voice ask.
"Oh yes well I suppose we never did tell you."
"Tell us what", Jamie hissed.
"Andy and I have a Daughter she's 6 years old now almost 7. You wanna know what it was like telling a four year old her mother was dead and then having to explain to her what that meant or having to hold her as she cried for mom every night for a year."
They where all silent
"Do you wanna know what it was like having to mourn the loss of the love of your life who was pregnant with your second child."
" oh Morgen", hope said," we didn't know we're so sorry"
"A child that you never got to meet or hold because you people who where supposed to be our family couldn't have her back and now she's dead because of all of you. I'm a single mother because of all of you. I had to hold the woman I loved as she died because of you. She bleed out in my arms because of you. Our daughter lost her mother and little sister or brother because of you. "
" we're sorry but killing Alec isn't going to bring them back", Jamie said.
"Oh I know that"
"Then why do it", Devin asked.
"Your better as a hero", Reese started.
"The a villain", Hope finished.
"Come back to us and fight the good fight", Reese added.
"Do you guys really think I could redeem my self", I said tears in my eyes.
"Yes", Hope said.
"Well too bad because the hero in me died the day you guys let Andy die", I said.
The lights when out and I made my way over to Jamie first and kicked her in the neck nocking her down. Next was Reese.
He was expecting my first to come at his gut but not for me to sweep the leg. He fell on the floor and I stomped on his package. Devin tried to come up behind me but I grabbed his head with my arms and using his strength against him I flipped him over onto his back. Hope wouldn't go down without a fight and I knew it. I swung for her stomach and hit she swung at my face and I hit my nose. I wasn't playing any more. I swung at her stomach first with my left hand and then my right then my left again until she was on the floor.
The lights came back on and on the floor where my former teammate my former friends.
"You really thought you could stop me", I chuckled while wiping the bloom from my nose.
"No I thought that maybe we could bring back the Morgen we once knew who fought along side us to make the world a better place", Hope said.
"Like I said that Morgen died 2 years ago".
"You were better as a hero", Reese said.
" I was only a hero because you knew I would be unstoppable as the villain", I said with a sly grin," and look you were right."
"Please Morgen give us back Alec", Jamie pleaded.
"Oh don't worry I will"
"Will you give him back alive", Devin asked.
"Now that's a good question", I said.
I turned and walked out the door
"See you later old friends", I said and strolled off.
