Aspen's POV

"So how's the new restaurant coming Koa?" Christen asks as she looks at my Dad as I sit back down in-between Emma and Kimora after getting a drink.

My Dad's a chef with 50 restaurant's worldwide and they're all called Koa.

My Mom is an agent who has many clients in the sports world.

My Mom is not only my agent, but she's Tobin's agent, Christen's agent, Alex's agent, Kimora's agent, Jackie's agent, Kyra's agent, Jordyn's agent, Emma's agent, Jessie's agent, Sam's agent, and Kristie's agent.

"It's going good." My dad says. "Just gotta get all the interior stuff sorted then we'll be good to go."

"Where's it gonna be?" Alex asks as she hands Charlie to Mama C.

"Paris." Dad says.

"Another reason to go visit Paris." I say.

"True." Everyone says then I lean into Emma.

"Is that American Premier League thing still happening?" I whisper.

Because of the whole European Super League Debacle, the European federations are scraping their women's league and UEFA is scrapping the Women's champions league so that they can divert more funds to the mens side of football.

Emma and I's friend Talia Martin bought the NWSL and is now making a female league system in America for all of the women's football world.

"Mhmm." My best friend Emma Harris says. "It'll be announced after the June friendlies."

"So you and Talia will own clubs in the league?" I ask.

Emma owns Real Miami and Talia owns Inter New York.

"I won't, but Kimora, Kyra, Jackie, and Jordyn will." Emma says.

Kimora, Kyra, Jackie, and Jordyn own Atlético Los Angeles.

"Why isn't Real Miami in it?" I ask.

"I want the team to have their own stadium built first before we play in the APL so if we start in the NWSL then we'll have our stadium built by the end of the 2022/23 season.

"Well that makes sense." I say then I see my Dad get up.

"Food's here." Dad says then he, my Mom, Tobin, Sam, J Dad, and Sam's Dad go get the food for everyone.

There's around 40 people here so they'll need a lot of hands to carry in the food.

"So what's the captain situation like now?" I ask as I look at my best friend. "Like what order do you all go in?"

"I'm the captain." Emma says. "Then the vice captains are Kimora, Talia, and Audrey."

"Oh." I say then I look at my niece. "Hey Kai?"

"Yeah?" Kimora asks.

"Random question, but how did you get to wear number 14 on the national team?" I question. "Given you, Audrey, and Talia's usual numbers are all 14."

"Well I've been playing for the national team for the longest and I have the most caps so I get to wear it." Kimora says. "So for the national team Talia wears number 9 while Audrey wears number 7."

"Oh." I say. "Wait I thought Abby wore number seven."

"Long story." All the American national team players say.

"Why do you wear number 14 Auntie Aspen?" Kyra asks.

"Well before college I wore number 17 because of your Mom." I say. "But when I got to college, I switched to 14 because only 14 D1 schools offered me a scholarship."
