CHAPTER 6: SWEET HEART

i can hardly sleep, since i came home yesterday night considering what Nelson said after we had physical conflict.

[ FLASHBACK ]

"i'm not lying, since i lost my memory, so I'm sorry if i offended you." i meant to say it this time when i got goosebumb from his silence while staring at my face.

"?" i snapped him out but he gave me a sad face then he turned back from me.

'ahh, his leaving already.' i said the back of my mind. but when he started to walked within two steps and suddenly stoped without looking back.

"Lize, i don't know what exactly happened to you but you should not cry alone."  his last word before he continued to walk ahead. as if he want me to remind that there was still a friend i can rely on.

Well, i'm the one who kicked him out in the first place. so what's the sudden conscience and feeling guilt? and to think i didn't have a chance to wait the heroine, did she successfully appeared in the Banquet?

"Milady?!" Erika's calling me out as she barged in my room.

"H-huh, what's the matter?" i asked with listless body. i'm still laying in my bed while watching the ceiling.

"Sir Nel, was here!" she giggled from excitement after whispering a words in my ear.

"..."

"Milady?" he shake my both arm when i'm about to fall asleep.

"Huh?" i didn't understand what she whisper in my ears.

"Milady it's not time to fall asleep," she help me to raise up from seating in my bed but my body won't cooperate with me.

to be honest i'm still wearing my sleepwear, i just planned to sleep all day long in my room. "what do you mean?" i snap out a bit from my senses.

"Sir Nelson was here and his waiting for you at downstairs, Milady."

"WHAAAT?!" i got surprised from a sudden visit. did we just cut of ties?

"Shhh, Milady they're talking downstairs with your parents." Erika's comfort me not to screamed out loud because it may caused a misunderstanding then after Erika dress me up an german Dirndl origanated as the uniform of servants in this 19th century.

it's like i'm going to capital with this dress. long white-blouse underneath the red plain looking corset in the upper part of dress.

"Belize, Nel wanted you to accompany him in the capital since you became bored lately." both my parents push me away to Nelson. what's with thier behavior?

"so i intrust Belize in your care Nel, please look after her when you're both in the capital."

"Yes, Thank you Baron Belarus, i will send her back after strolling into capital." he swear before we head into the horse carriage.

"why do you have to do this? when i don't want to remember you." i first break the silence between us.

"The Baron called for me," he casual replied as we had eye-contact.

"they tell me why you became like this, so they want me to do a favor for you." he explain briefly. 

"..." deep inside i want to cursed my parents but that would become disrespectful so i remained calm.

"lize, would you mind if i asked you?" he's asking for my permission.

"go ahead, i'm listening." i let him be while looking outside the window of this horse-carriage.

"after you drowned..." i heard him stop for a moment of time.

"from lily's lake, had you find something strange? nor someone pushes you away?" he looks like he want to figure out something, if there's a culprit behind the incident.

"i'm sorry but i don't have any idea about it and i didn't think it's a big deal." i face him as i directly answered his questions.

"I see," he nodded and the long silence between us came again after the long ride from the carriage without breaking the long silence between us, we departed in the capital street and started to stroll around.

"hello, The two couple out there! would you like to taste a sweet hearts?" the vendor pointed out the same Cotton candy in my previous life but in this era it was shape heart.

"give me one," he buy one then gave diretly to me and who i am to refused? since i don't bring my own money with me.

"how about you Sir knight? are you planning on sharing with your lover?" Mistaken asumption of Vendor.

"it's okay, i don't like eating sweet and lastly we're not a lovers, we're Childhood friends." he emphasize our relationship from the street vendor.

"Pardon from my impudent manner, Captain knight." i didn't pay them much attention because it's trivial so let alone eat the cotton candy.
