A bag dropped in front of the girl, causing a loud thud as the contents clattered together. Catching her attention, she turned to where the bag could have emerged. Her eyes found the hunter standing at the door holding a cane in one hand and the other a large bag with an equally vast dark red stain coating the bottom of the bag. "Get up; we're leaving" was all he said. Before the girl could respond, the hunter had already turned away, walking out of the house. Quickly she grabbed the bag and followed him. After a quick jog, she caught up to him, nearly stumbling during the process. Before she could fall, her arm got clutched by the hunter helping her back to her feet. After seeing the girl was fine, he turned his back to her before she could thank him, leaving an awkward silence between them as they started to leave the town.

As night fell, the two survivors of the bloodbath village were sitting next to a campfire, preparing to sleep for the night. The hunter finds the nearest tree tying the blood-soaked bag to one of its branches and placing some vials underneath it, ready to collect any blood that drips. The girl seeing this, asks about his actions. Unsure what to say, he simply states: "for future use." Then he proceeded to sit at the tree's base, knowing that is all he would answer; she then asked what would happen from here. "We are going to rest for the night; then we are heading toward Re-Estize." He then added, seeing as she is about to respond with a question almost reading her mind, "Dont worry, I'm keeping watch." Smirking, for a second, then dropping it under his face cloth, "I dont plan to sleep anytime soon." Having her question promptly answered, she covered herself in a sleeping bag packed into the backpack the hunter gave her. Before she could finish setting up, the hunter called for her to get her attention. The girl turned to him, catching an object he tossed to her. Looking into her hand, she sees a necklace, the same one she described to him when asking the hunter to look for her father. "I'm sorry I couldn't help," he says softly in a regrettable voice. Saddened, the girl finishes her bedding and proceeds to lay in it, promptly facing away. The hunter regretting his decision, looks around the area, ensuring nothing comes near them for the rest of the night.
