Running towards the general direction of the cry for help his thoughts were plagued with dread. The most prevalent thought is what will happen if he doesn't make it. The scene he was introduced to when he first stepped into the village kept popping into his head no matter how much he wanted to ignore it. This made him run even faster then he thought possible but he was happy with it, this means he has I higher chance to save a life.
While the Hunter is running, a small young girl wearing a yellow dress is also running but unlike the hunter, it is away from the threat. The beast chasing her is known as the Scourage Beast: "extremely fast and powerful, They can easily take Hunters by surprise with their erratic and unpredictable movements. Extreme care is required when dealing with them, especially when encountered in pairs."

The girl trips falling to the ground yet continues moving by flipping herself on her back and shuffling backward, looking at the imminent threat through her long disheveled black hair gaining ground and catching up. Soon it overshadowed her leaning its head at her level maw opened the stench of death escaping to the open air, as well as some saliva with a mixture of blood, splashing the ground in front of the girl's feet. She closed her brown eyes in anticipation of what the beast will do.
Suddenly there was a sound of the ground being smashed followed with a wet noise. The girl opened her eyes again, curious as to why her death hasn't happened. The first thing she saw was a large stone block where the creature's head was recently located. She didn't have to look down to know where the head was, she instead looked at the stone block's handle sticking out from her right and looked where it was pointing. What she saw was a person donning black attire with their limbs and head covered in silver armor holding a large sword. It looked, male due to his size and stature and he was facing against another wolf-like beast. The creature then lunged with its claws ready to pierce. The man dodges to the side though not unscathed as the creature at the last minute, outstretched its arm leaving a large gash against the man. Though what was strange was instead of going to defense or healing himself the man instead got more aggressive running to the beast slashing at it a few times, then leaping back as the beast goes to counter the man. It then pounced once more at the man though this time it ended differently. Not only did the man dodge its attack successfully but also stabbed his sword into its exposed back twisting it and pulling it out. This caused the beast to slump but not die as the front claws and the head is still mobile, slashing and biting in random directions dragging its body trying to get revenge for the damage done to it. Little did it know it was only met with a stab to the head ending its suffering. After the battle, the man turned his attention to the girl and began walking to her general direction. Soon he towers over the girl just as the beast did result in the girl closing her eyes once more only to hear the sound of a click and scrapping. She opened her eyes seeing him walk away going into a house his sword sheathed into the stone block. She immediately got up on her feet following the stranger seeing him as her only hope of surviving the nightmare that befell her town.
