10:52 am
genevieve waited for a message. she knew that it was somewhat selfish of her to expect a text.
3:22 pm
genevieve concluded that perhaps lennon was busy.
6:54 pm
hey lennon c:
7:21 pm
genevieve checked her past messages. perhaps she had said something wrong.
10:56 pm
she told herself that she would only check her notifications once more. nothing.
12:05 am
why was she feeling this way? on one hand, it had become a routine. anon -lennon, would send a cheerful 'good morning, sunshine' text. genevieve's mood would brighten.
12:11 am
she had come to a conclusion. anon made her happy. however, she was sad -and slightly afraid of this feeling. this one simple, boy -whom she had not yet once met in person, had the ability to make her very happy.
if he could make her feel an immense amount of happiness, she was afraid of how much sadness he could make her feel. this was the reason she never attached herself to a n y o n e.
"how do you make me feel this way?" she whispered to herself, before turning off her phone, and going to sleep.
