"Yes, ma. I will send you lots of pictures" Gulf said to his excited mother as he laid back on his bed, dressed in PJ's.

"Omg!! I am so excited. Your phi just said they are gonna put these party clips on YouTube. I am gonna share it with all the villagers" His mom squeal. Gulf could not help but burst out laughing.

"Ma...It's not that of a big deal. No one really watches it. " Gulf told his mom.

"Who said? There are like a million views on every video. " His mom debated.

"Who the hell even sees those videos. It's just a bunch of rich CEOs gathering together to actually talk business but instead pretend like they are trying to socialize" Gulf reasoned.

"What do you mean by just a bunch of rich people? It's like all the rich and talented people in one place. Let's not forget about how most of them are so handsome. Who doesn't like gossiping about them! These days people are into the handsome billionaires as much as they are into idols. " His mother said with so determination, making gulf shake his head.

"Whatever you say ma " Gulf said rolling on his side.

"It's getting late. Sleep now. Ma will talk to you tomorrow." His mom said.

"Okay, Ma. Good night"  Gulf replied

"Say hi to phi and pa for me " he added

"I will. Go to sleep now. " his mother said rushing not wanting to keep him up anymore. It's not like he is gonna fall asleep as soon as the call cuts off - news flash he does. Mothers know well.

The next day, he somehow ended up late for work. Then met his boss in the elevator once again. This time it's not gulf who ran into mew's elevators, the one only boss uses. It was mew who walked into the employee's elevators. Apparently, the other one is broken. Mew is almost sure that it was pine's work. That girl vowed to get him a love life and gulf asher brother-in-law.

"Good morning, Boss M"  Gulf said turning red, it's not because he is shy, it's because he just remembered the embarrassing encounter with Boss in the elevator last day.

"Good Morning, gulf " Mew replied with a charming smile.

Gulf heartbeat slipped for a second there. That smile-it was so stunning, but at the same time, it's very familiar. It felt so familiar that he could point out how...

Then he remembered, mew just said his name. He knows my name.

"Are you excited about Saturday's party?" Mew asked trying to build up the conversation.

Then gulf realized, the boss must have known his name from that.  He was going to be his date for Saturday. There is no surprise that his boss knows his name, let's not forget about the embarrassing shit he did in the elevator the other day.

"I am..." Gulf said smiling sheepishly.

Just then, the elevator arrived on his floor.

"Oh. That's my floor " Gulf said sounding disappointing for no reason. The elevator doors opened like they can't wait to kick gulf out.

"I-... I wish you an amazing day, Boss!" Gulf said more like shouted for some unknown reason, before speed walking out of the elevator.

The doors closed behind him.

Mew was star struck. His mind just did something...

He was there, somewhere which looks like a beautiful garden in the emperor's manor. Just like something out of a historical movie. But the thing is he can't just see it, he can feel it.  The green trees around him, the beautiful flowers, the fragrance coming from it. He can feel the fresh wind blowing around him, the vast blue sky, birds flying above him. He can feel it all. It's like he exist there - wherever it was. Then he saw a beautiful young boy wearing blue attire, like an old times traditional dress worn by someone who belongs to the king's family. His sky blue dress skimmed by the wind, along with his long hair, making him look like some angel from behind.

He can't let out who it is, even though he felt like he exist there. But he can feel it, the connection between them. He knows him, he feels for that young man. That's what he knows for sure.

The beautiful boy said the same thing to him before walking away with a beautiful smile on his plump pink lips. His heart is racing, just from the image of that smile.

He can see those lips moving, they said...

"I wish you an amazing day, my emperor," they said.

He could not make out the face of that young boy. But he wants to so badly. He felt like dying...he just want to see him again. He wants to look at that young boy who is making his soul tremble.

Just then he started feeling the pain. His head started aching like something is trying to pull his brain out of his skull. So painful.

Just then the elevator door opened. He could hear his nong pine shouting his name. But it sounded so distant. He feels like he is still standing in that garden watching that young boy walk away.

Then he felt a pair of hands grabbing his hands away from his hair, which he was pulling so forcefully. He didn't know he was doing that.

"new! Phi! Phi! Can you hear me?" A voice said

Yes, he can hear it. That's his sister.

"Phi...Open your eyes." His sister spoke slowly. Not trying to freak him out. Like she is dealing with a mentally unstable person.

He didn't realize that he was closing his eyes so tightly and fell on his knees on the elevator floor.

It all happened quickly after gulf left the lift. The flashes rushed back so quickly, he couldn't handle them. It's like half of his soul is still stuck in that place, and half is with him right now. It's so painful.

"Phi..breathe. "

He did. He started breathing again which he was not doing until now.

Then everything started feeling normal. It's like he is here now. It's like his soul is not trying to break away anymore.

A sigh left his mouth. A very painful one.

"Please make way..." He heard his sister speak, followed by a few footsteps. he was walking into his office by pine. He was glad it's his office floor. Glad his other employees didn't see that.

He was sat and given water.

"It happened again?" His sister asked carefully. But he still heard the worry in her voice.

"Yes.." He replied.

"It's like the second time this happened when you are awake. I thought they only happen in your sleep. Like some dreams..." She asked sighing.

"I thought so too. But..these days..." mew could not continue.  Pine knows that too. They both know it's time to let it go. Not to talk about it anymore.

"You need to see a therapist phi. This is not getting any better " she said not letting this go.

"And say what! You think they are gonna believe what I say!"  Mew shouted.

But pine didn't say anything

"Why wouldn't they. You haven't even tried seeing one before" she spoke slowly knowing how frustrated her bother is.

"Who the hell in right mind gonna believe if I say I am getting flashes of my past life - where I was the king fu*king Maverick!! "
