Chapter 1: Welcome to the Madrigals

Fifteen years later,

At the Casita, everything is quiet there was nothing stirring not even a rat. But then in one of the rooms is where Mirabel and Leba are wake and are getting up, they finished dress up to their normal clothes and they head towards the door. But Leba stops his sister as he said, "Wait!!" He pointed at Mirabel's embroidered skirt and see that there's an loose thread, "Oh, thank you Lil' brother!" He grunted as he grab is long Cane, "I thought I told you not call me that!" Mirabel giggled as she grabs the doorknob and take a deep breathe; so as Leba. Both of them say "Make our family, proud." They left the room as they heads towards the Kitchen, they past by a portrait of their late Grandfather, "Mornin' Abuelo!!" Both of them exclaimed as they pass by some windows which opens by Casita, outside three children's come from the village were heading towards to the Casa. In the Kitchen, Casita helped the two by handing them the dishes plates. 

"I got it!!" Leba said as he caught five plates and Mirabel caught seven, as they set the plates they heard the voices of the children outside as they see Mirabel and Leba through a window. Then they began shouting question at them,

"Hey, when's the magic going to happen?!" The boy who's drinking coffee, Mirabel smiled "Our Cousin's ceremony is tonight," Both Mirabel and Leba knew that they need help much as they can, knowing how this ceremony is important and it was a big day for the family.

The boy ask another question, "What's his gift!?" 

Mirabel  replies back, "We're going to find out!"

A young girl ask another question, "What's your Gifts?!"

"Who's asking?" Leba teased, as he continues helping setting up the table for a second. "US!!" The three children's  exclaimed as they pointed at each other. "Well, 'us'. if we only tell you won't know the whole story," Mirabel answered, Leba added "We meant, like we're part of the Madrigal family!"

"What are the stories of the Madrigals!?" They all chimed in, as Leba sighed "You're not going to leave us alone, are you?" Both of them nod as Mirabel calls out Casita for assistance, "Casita, help us out!" 

"Drawers!!" Leba said, they opened immediately for him. "Floors!!" Mirabel said as the titles on the ground flipped open and closed as if saluting her. "Door!" The Bedroom doors in the house glowed with magic.

"Let's go!" Mirabel lead her brother  to the Bedrooms to wake the family up, they knocked every door in Casita  and every one's wake. The one who got out is Abuela Alm, who is happy to see everyone awake and dancing and getting ready for the big day.

Mirabel: " This is our home,

We've got every generation

So full of music,

The rhythm of its own design

This is my family, 

A perfect constellation

So many stars,

And everybody gets to shine" 

Leba & Mirabel: "Whoa! Let's be clear, runs this show (Whoa!)

Whoa! She led us here so many years ago (Whoa!)

Whoa, and every year our family blessings grow (Whoa!)

It's just a lot, you've simply got to know, so"

Both of them were at the front doors and they look at each  other and nod as they about to open the doors, then they open the doors as the whole family left Casita. Mirabel and Leba wave goodbye at Casita; which wave back.
