Looking out the window of the Steadfast's Main Bridge, you stood proudly in the center with your hands clasped tightly behind your back. The other officers were on monitors making sure that the ship's course was steady and that there were no disturbances in the vast space in front.
The ones who were walking past you dare not to talk or touch you. Who knows what would happen if they accidentally bumped one of the, perhaps most, well known Generals of The First Order? So the only time someone spoke to you was when they had something important to address you with, if you deemed it so.
"General?" You heard behind you.
You turned around and looked up to see a tall brunette man who you knew to be Lieutenant Bailey Marshh, his glasses complementing his sharp features very well."Yes, Lieutenant?" You asked, monotone.
Marshh stretched out his trembling hands holding a folder, which you took and opened but closed immediately after you read the first sentence.
"Who sent this?" You asked, raising your voice with every word. The Officers around the two of you looked in your direction and fell silent as they anticipated what would happen next.
Fear washed over Marshh but disappeared in a split second, everyone knew not to show fear around you."G-general Hux, Ma'am. He insisted." He answered with surprising bravery.
You sucked in air harshly and tore the folder in half, letting the pieces fall to the floor.
"You are dismissed, Lieutenant." You hissed. He hurried off quickly, hands trembling in fear.
How dare Hux question your strategies and plans?!
Your face became red and hot with anger then you quickly glanced at your wrist watch and sighed deeply and left the Command Deck, ready to leave to eat and rest in your quarters. As you walked down the hall you saw a certain Bailey Marshh walking slowly to himself near the wall.
"Hey, Bailey!" You called after him, a grin spreading across your face(no one else was in the hall so it was okay to greet your friend the proper way). Bailey looked over his shoulder and walked quicker at the sight of you. You frowned and ran to catch up to him.
"Bailey, what's wrong?" You asked, eyebrows furrowing.
"Oh, it's just I had a really bad day today. And you getting mad at me just... kinda made it worse." Said Bailey, pushing up his glasses and looking to the floor. You hugged Bailey tight in your arms before kissing him lightly on the head. "I'm so sorry, Bails," You started. "I wasn't mad at you, I was just mad at that Bastard of a Ginger and almost took it out on you. I'm sorry."
"It's okay." He replied. "Hey, I was going to ask, would you like to have dinner at my place?"
You smiled, taking his hand in yours. "Sure."••••••••
"Bailes?" You hummed as you helped carry the dirty dishes to the small kitchenette sink.
"Yes?" Bailey inquired, saying your name as he pushed his glasses farther up his nose again and rolling up his sleeves to plunge his hands into the water filled sink."You know I'll always be your friend, right? No matter how mad I get?"
Bailey smiled as a small blush crept on his face. "Yeah..." He muttered.
You smiled too and quickly pecked the tall brunette man on the cheek, which made him blush even more. After you and Bailey finished cleaning up in his Quarters, he walked you to your Quarters on the top floor. One thing you hated about being a high-ranking General means you live close to the other Generals, and it just so happens that a certain Ginger lived right across from you.
