Watching their band practice was actually really great. Ashton was drumming his heart out and I enjoyed the way Michael sang, both were quite amusing to watch.
Luke was singing too, but I chose to ignore most of what he sang. However, I can't deny that the asshole does have a good voice. He also got into the songs they were singing, rocking on his heels and closing his eyes to hit the high notes.
Michael was running around the garage messing with everybody else the entire time they were practicing, being really adorable. Calum, well he was just standing in one place and singing, occasionally shifting on the heels of his converse.
I kept my eyes mainly on Ashton though, he was banging his head slightly and his hair was growing sweaty making him look five times more attractive. Once they were finishing up, I was taking a sip out of the water bottle as Ashton made his way up to me.
"So what do you think?" He asked, motioning towards his band mates. "All of you are really amazing. You're all talented," I said and offered a small smile.
"I know sweetheart, we don't need your opinion," Luke snapped from his place in the middle of the room, putting up his guitar. "That's enough Luke," Michael said and placed his hand on Luke's shoulder.
Luke scowled and shrugged Michael's hand off, continuing putting his guitar away. "Excuse me, sweetheart, you don't want my opinion and I don't want to listen to your voice so please do me a favor and shut your damn mouth," I stated, voice laced with venom and sarcasm.
Calum tried to stifle a laugh, not doing that great of a job as his loud, childlike giggle rang throughout the room. Luke's face was red by now but he kept his mouth closed due to the glance Michael shot him.
"Do you want to go get pizza?" Ashton asked when I finally turned back to him. "No. Hell no. She is not coming with us to eat! That's a guy thing! That's our thing!" Luke seethed.
Just to spite Luke, I nodded and said a quick "yes." We all went to get in our own cars but Ashton insisted I ride with him and Luke. I disagreed at first, mainly because of the blond haired boy sitting in the front seat.
Ashton wouldn't take no for an answer and I ended up walking to his car with him. "Oi, mate get your arse in the back, Lena gets the front," Ashton told Luke as he got in the drivers seat.
Luke groaned and purposely shoved me as he climbed out of the seat, so as he turned I stuck my foot out, causing him to stumble. "Fucking bitch you have here mate," He growled as he took his seat in the back.
I grinned sarcastically at him in the rear view mirror and he scowled. We eventually made it to the little pizza parlor that was right outside of town without any arguments, surprisingly.
We all went in and found the table that Calum and Michael had gotten and we took a seat. We all ate a few slices and laughed at jokes, me and Luke sending each other glares across the table and me kicking him harshly when he stepped on my foot.
Ashton stood up and left his keys on the table stating he'd be right back. However, after around an hour of waiting we all got kind of worried. Michael was the first to text him and see where he was, before showing us his phone.
Drummer Boy: Hey, it's a long story but tell Lena and Luke to take the car and go back to my house. Tell Lena I'm sorry for leaving her with him, but I can't come back right now. I'll explain later.
"I'm not riding in a car with him! Michael let me ride with you!" I groaned over exaggeratedly but Michael only shook his head. "Sorry Le, but my backseat is full, all I have is the front occupied by yours truly and Calum."
I slumped in my seat as Luke smirked and grabbed the keys off of the table, signaling for us all to leave and go home. I sighed heavily as I followed a few feet behind him to Ashton's car.
I sat in the passenger seat and he started the car, connecting his phone to Bluetooth before he began backing out of the parking spot. As I recognized the song that he started playing, I let a small smile cross my face.
"You like My Chemical Romance?" I asked, looking over at him. "Yeah, they were an amazing band, really fucking great actually. You like them too?" He asked and I nodded a little too excitedly.
"What's your favorite song by them?" He asked. "Well I personally like Dead, Helena, Fake Your Death, and Scarecrow. You?" I replied, surprised I could actually carry on an interesting conversation with this boy.
"I like Famous Last Words, Helena because it's awesome, I'm Not Okay (I Promise), and You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison." He listed off and as he spoke, Helena live from Mexico started playing.
He turned the volume up louder and I smiled softly, "You know, too bad your personality is shit because your music taste is attractive," I said and I watched as an amused smirk crossed his face.
"Too bad you keep dropping shit on me because your face is pretty attractive," he said and I laughed. "You suck horribly at throwing shade Luke," and with that I turned it up louder and began to sing along.
