Whoosh... The smell of Qinxqin flowers, and Windwheel Asters, rather sweet. The scent of  Mondstadt, Nation of Freedom, home to the god of Anemo, Barbatos. As Well as Liyue, Nation of Contracts, home to the god of Geo, Rex Lapis.

A boy, looking not much older than 17, sat by the edge, near a statue of the seven, Rex Lapis's statue. He got out his Lyre and began to play a tune. The tune itself, the bittersweet melody, told a story. One of Anguish, Love, and Loss. It would be told forever amongst the bard's tunes to his people, he... wouldn't forget. He strummed his Lyre, fingers gliding over the instrument like penguins 'flying' in the ocean. 'It's been how long now..?' The small bard recalled, putting a finger from his Lyre to his chin, '100, no, maybe more years have passed.' He couldn't believe how long ago it was... Standing up and strumming his Lyre once more, he began to recall all the events that lead up to the Adeptus's fall. All because of himself...the small bard never got the chance to say 'I love you..'

The Lyre continued to play, as Venti was completely lost in thought, piecing together his imagination, oh how he could still recall everything... He had lost most, if not all of his friends because of this... because of how stupid he acted that night.. he wished he could take it all back... he never meant to actually get drunk.. he thought it was impossible.. he had been trying to get drunk...since... 'it's no use thinking about him either. They're both gone... I couldn't save either of them...why does it have to be them who died..? Why couldn't it have been me...' He was lost, negative thoughts flowing to the brim, he didn't hear Rex Lapis himself appearing behind him...

"Are you lost in your thoughts, from that dreadful day? The way you are strumming your Lyre gives it away, old friend." Venti had never felt his heart drop faster than it did right as he turned around, almost dropping his Lyre

"Ah...Morax, what a surprise to see you here... What brings you here..? To this spot in particular" The small bard had said nervously...

'I thought he hated me...I killed one of his only remaining Adeptus... why is he here..? Has he come to end me..?'

The Air became increasingly thin, as Rex Lapis did not respond, he stood there, quietly...rather too quiet, for The bard's liking...

"I'm here to lend you an ear... Even Celestia itself knows how much pain you are in, Barbatos.." His words, Sympathetic, Which isn't something He needed, especially the use of his true name.
He couldn't stand it.. the tears rolling down his face as the dam inside him broke, sobbing and weeping he fell on his knees, his cyan ombre braids going on the side of his face as his pale, feminine hands came to his face to wipe his tears. "I'm...so...sorry... I didn't....mean to..." He said in between sobs, his face going red due to all the rubbing on his small frame. His bright green shorts, puffy white  sleeves, and face stained dark with tears from his black mascara, while the older Archon simply did nothing but smile, reminiscing all the wonderful times he had with the small Adeptus, silently whispering to himself a Rhyme, to rewrite time. His memory wasn't as solid as stone, even with him being the Geo Archon, he remembered the war as if it happened not much less than an hour ago, but nothing quite else since then, Only memories of their beloved traveler, who left them as soon as he found his long lost twin.

He looked Barbatos in his teal green eyes, "If you would, play a tune, old friend... for old times sake.." The request, bringing a small smile to the younger Archon's face. Barbatos's glossy tear-stained eyes became happy excited ones, 'Such a rather small thing to get happy over... But i suppose it is better than him being depressive..' Morax thought, returning Barbatos's smile. Standing up and getting his Lyre, Venti began to strum a tune, one he learned so long ago.. 1000 if not more years ago, this tune gliding in the wind, all throughout Teyvat. 'Dum.. dun do... da... da da... do da...dum dun do da... ta to.. taa ta... to ta to ti... di-do... da dum.. dun ti'  The Melody, upbeat but slow-paced, a melody much to Morax's liking. Rex Lapis began to hum along, his deep voice mixing with the high and low notes.

Dum.. dun do... da... da da... do da...dum dun do da... ta to.. taa ta... to ta to ti... di-do... da dum.. dun ti Dum.. dun do... da... da da... do da...dum dun do da... ta to.. taa ta... to ta to ti... di-do... da dum.. dun ti Dum.. dun do... da... da da... do da...dum dun do da... ta to.. taa ta... to ta to ti... di-do... da dum.. dun ti... Dum.. dun do... da... da da... do da...dum dun do da... ta to.. taa ta... to ta to ti... di-do... da dum.. dun ti..'

The Melody played over again in both the Archon's heads, reality drifting, and their memories flooding back to them. Barbatos, who has been trying long to forget. Morax, who has been trying to remember every detail, flashbacks occurred, those who wanted them, and those who didn't, would witness the Peak of Liyue, a time of Joy, and full of passionate people. Barbatos closing his eyes, his reality fading out, he laid on the ground relaxing, letting himself become vulnerable. The smell of Qinxqin flowers eternally becoming stronger.
