“The next time you call me Gray; try at least to pretend you are civilized.” Cecil said.

Gray looked at her simply and said, “Forgive me Cecil, but I do not just assume to be civil when I am not feeling thus.”

“Of all the most inconsiderate things to say! Gray, you underestimate me! Have you forgotten who I am?”

“Actually, I’m very much aware of who you are, the daughter of our much-respected chancellor. Nevertheless, just like everyone here, you are under my leadership. Come to think of it, Princess Maximilliene follows my lead, why can’t you do the same?”

“Follow you?” Cecil gave a harsh laugh. “Not on this lifetime. Have you forgotten it was my consent that gave you that beloved leadership you speak about?” Gray was about to comment back but Cecil raised a palm up and said first, “Now, you don’t have to thank me for bringing up the topic. Why did you call me?”

“Cecil why are you like that? You are always good natured when somebody else, not from the team is present.” one of the other four spoke.

“James, that is because she’s not interested in being good to the likes of us. Remember, we’re all at the beck and call of her father, the chancellor.” someone else said.

Cecil gave a smirk towards that person and said, “How very well you say that Blaire. Would not the same situation apply to you?”

“Now listen to me, before you bite each other’s head off. What I wanted you to do Cecil, is to ask everyone who were here in the dome the usual questions. I will not dwell my mind on the things you said previously for I believe the task I wanted to be done falls under your expertise.” Gray coolly interjected, keeping his temper in control.

“And how am I supposed to do that? I didn’t have the names of all the people who watched the game.”Cecil replied.

“I can help with that.” another of the other four said.

Cecil turned to the person who spoke. “No Edwin, this job demands patience. I’d rather go with Contessa, where is she?” Cecil made the mistake of asking Godffried specifically.

He shot up from listening calmly and became his usual irritating and hysterical self. “Me? Where? Who? Why me? I am – I, well, I do not know where she is. Should I suppose to know where Contessa is? Honestly, oh, goodness! Do I?”

“Stop mumbling Godffried!” Blaire strongly uttered. He was easily becoming irritated and was visibly massaging his right temple.

“Sorry Blaire, I didn’t want to, I mean, I didn’t mean to trouble you! Oh! Had I already bothered you, didn’t I?” and with that Godffried continued to dabble about how sorry he was. “If I can do anything to make it up to you Blaire, say it! Please!”

“This is becoming too much already!” Gray spoke under his breath. Just like before, every time Godffried had a bout of hysterics, everyone who is present stood transfixed and could not do anything. Only Edwin, who is Godffried’s closest friend, can think of how to regulate his friend’s excessive outburst. Edwin clamped his left hand to that of Godffried’s mouth while his other hand pulled on his collar. “Come on Cecil, let us find Contessa. As for you spawn of emotional excess-” Edwin looked down at the now diagonal and thrashing Godffried “-you will come with us.” and with that Edwin dragged his friend out, a smiling Cecil closely following behind.

“I think I would be of more help to the wellness of the team, if I return to the laboratory.” Blaire declared and strode out of the dome, leaving behind a bewildered James and a Gray who was much more relaxed. “At least it’s going to be calmer now.” Gray uttered he turned to James and said, “Don’t you have anything productive to do James?”
