Part Eight

The rooms on Žiak University's first floor were in fact deserted. Daunte found a Sound Set 04 in one of the rooms, along with an escape scroll. One room was an empty classroom with bookshelves filled with books, and Tamara was quickly removing books from the shelves. "Blaise will want these for the library," she said. "Žiak University allows books that have been banned for educational purposes."

"Aww, that is so cute that you help your fiancé like that," Allise cooed at her. Tamara blushed dark red.

Daunte idly looked at one of the shelves when a pale blue spine caught his eye. He gasped and quickly pulled the book out. "Ah! The Looking Moon!"

"The Looking Moon?" Chinmaya asked with a smile. "It's a shame that book was banned it's one of the most sought after books in the country."

"Could I have that for the library, Lord Daunte?" Tamara asked.

"I'm sorry," Daunte said. "But I was thinking of giving this to Felicity. W-When the Holy Army arrested her family and ransacked her hosue, this was one of the books missing from her bookshelf."

"No, that's okay."

"You're a good friend, Lord Daunte," Gunther said. His tone was serious and not teasing, which took Daunte by surprise.

"Oh, WOW!" Rico exclaimed, pulling a thick tattered book from another shelf. "These are recipes, aren't they?"

"I'll give that to Yasaka," Daunte said.

Fred pulled a thin book from the shelf, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What's a 'yearbook'?"

"Oh, that's a yearly summary of the academic year," Chinmaya said. "What's the year on that yearbook?"
