Preface

Biana Amberly Vacker. My ex best friend. I never wanted to make her my ex best friend. It just unfortunately worked out like that.

It was the end of 8th grade. I knew in September I would have to go through high school. I felt so lucky because I had someone to do it with when I heard the news. My best friend moving away.

Hours later, I heard I would be moving to a new fancy school rather than a public one. I also heard that I would be going to 10th grade than 9th grade.

Not only did I have to enter high school basically alone, I had to do it without anyone I knew due to a new school and grade.

Biana and her family moved completely the day before we both started school. It was the first and only time I cried because I felt like I would never see Biana ever again.

Now, going into the first month of school, they have quiz bowl try outs. My super fancy private school makes us join at least one extra circular.

I wanted to join the photography club but my parents wouldn't let me. They say I need to use my big brain of mine so they told me to join quiz bowl.

My best friend Dex is also trying out for quiz bowl because he doesn't like anything else that the school has to offer other than activities his mom won't let him do.

I have an older sister Lihn. The school put me in her grade. I honestly thought she was still go to public school but Mother and Father made her restart as well. Lihn, Marella (a friend Lihn made from the pool over the summer and Lihns best friend), Dex and I like to hang out.

Usually, brothers would be embarrassed of thier sisters. I am not.. I love mine too much.
