Chapter 3.

At last the 5 and beyond Titans were destroyed. And Eren took pride in his teams accomplishments. Armin suddenly came stumbling out from behind one of the Titans heads and fell flat on his back from exhaustion, looking up at the sky with a surprised face. Jean came running towards Eren holding his shoulder from the blast against the tree. While Sasha went to tend to Armin.
"It seems we didn't do that bad, aye Eren?" Jean said still holding his left shoulder.
"Yea, if it wasn't for Mikasa that is, w-wait where is she?" Eren look around in a heat of panicked for a moment before Mikasa jumped down off of a Titans head. Eren took a look of relief on his face and Jean seemed to have noticed.
"You have been acting strange jaeger? What's gotten into you lately?"
"Oh I-I have we-" before he could finish his sentence Mikasa suddenly ran up and hugged from behind and calmly said.
"Stupid" and walks away towards Sasha.
Eren and Jean look at each other for a moment in a bit of surprise, before turning there heads away.

Meanwhile...
"What are those slackers doing." Said captain Levi.
"They better not have gotten eaten alive."
"Oh don't be so hard on them their nice kids and they can handle it." Hange quickly replied.
"Pfft they had better. We can't afford to lose anymore team members."
Levi, Hange, Connie, were almost at the overgrown woods when they saw the smoke signals coming from all directions.
"The Titans, their coming from all around us we have to gather up the troops!" Connie said.
"I'm the captain and I make the decisions..." He thought for a moment before realizing what to say.
"We need to find Jaeger, then if anyone else is still alive we scout out for them. Remember our mission is to still protect Eren wether I like it or not.
"Yes sir!" Connie said as they turned the horses around. Quietly beginning to ride toward his position.
"Why did u guys pick me to ride with you in the front anyway?" Connie asked.
"For bate! If we needed it of course." Hange said casually with a smile as she rode past him.
"Huh?? Hey w-wait for me guys!" He said shocked.
The sound of the horses clops took over the rest of the conversation.
But They weren't riding for long before they noticed something strange and had to speak.
"Hey wasn't that Mikasas horse?" Connie said.
"I hope she's alright."
Hange and Levi looked with puzzled expressions.
"Huh... Grab his reins and lead him our way let's continue." Captain Levi said and they fallowed his orders.
"Hey there's two more!" Said Connie.
"Yes I'm aware do the same with those
Ones."
"You know it wouldn't hurt to say please once." Connie replied, but the only response he received was a glare from Levi.
"Oh-uh sorry captain." He said a little embarrassed.

Mean while back with Eren, Jean was once again tried calling his horse and Armin was still laying on the ground hyperventilating.
"Well what now." Eren said to Mikasa.
"I guess we wait for Jean to call the horses then head back in our formations." There was a long pause between to two. Mikasa put her hair behind her ears as if she was embarrassed. All she wanted to do was rush over to him and hug him.
"Eren?" She said walking a little closer.
"...Mikasa."
"Hey guys!!!" Sasha yelled and Mikasa quickly turned away from Eren blushing slightly.
"I think I see someone coming!!"
Jean lifted up his telescope and in the distance they could see Levi and the others coming her way.
"Hey and they got our horses!" Jean said a little disappointed that he still couldn't call them. Armin lifted his head up.
"But why are they coming over here, shouldn't they be in their formations?" Armin asked as they saw more shots of smoke signals coming from the left.
Two more of their team members were running their way with Titans right on their tale. But they didn't see them for long before they were eventually caught. Everyone had a look of surprise on their face as they heard the screams of their teammates slowly being eaten alive. They two titans didn't hesitate, and swallowed them. The team looked over in shock. They turned their smiling faces towards them. the pause before they started coming there way, seemed to linger on forever. Armin let out a whimper and a face full of fear.
"Hurry get on the horses!!!" Jean said.
"How can we, we only have 2 left! We aren't all going to fit! Their coming in fast and Levi isn't even close to us yet!" Armin said panicked.
"Mikasa, I want you to take one of the horses and get out of here!" Eren said
"What no! I'm not going to leave you here!"
"There's no time! We won't make it we don't have enough fuel left our 3D maneuver gear!" Eren said.
From their right they saw four more coming their way, their mouths covered in blood.
"OH MY GOD. I think they wiped out the right positions!" Sasha yelled."
"Armin I want you to ride with Mikasa, Jean and Sasha take the other one." Eren said.
"B-but!" Armin started.
"There's no time GO!!" Jean screamed."
"Eren!" Mikasa said.
"I'm not asking you I said Get out if here!!!!" Eren screamed.
The Titans were getting too close. Mikasa and the rest hopped on the horses and began to ride away. Mikasa looked back with worried eyes. Levi and the others could see the Titans from a distance as long as the rest of the team. The Titans were getting closer to Eren as he lifted his hand to his mouth. Armin looked back at him.

"Thanks Mikasa you won't have to worry about anything because I don't believe you would be the one dying today anyways. I think it would most likely be me."
"Why would you say that?"
"Because your much stronger then I am, your tougher and one of the best members the survey corpse ever had. I'm just me I guess."
"You shouldn't doubt yourself so much, Armin, your strong you just don't believe it..."

Armin looked back with a determined face.
"I probably have the most fuel left in my maneuver gear!" Armin thought.

"Your strong you just don't believe it."

"I am strong!" Armin said as he jumped off the horse and readied his gear.
"Armin wait!!" Mikasa called.
"I AM STRONG!" Armin yelled while the Titans ran close to Eren as he forcefully bit the side of his hand...
