Chapter 11

Eren was in Levi's office. Both already had a good idea of what was going on. Levi knew he was going to confess his love for Mikasa to everyone and Eren knew levi knew about it.
"So. You were going to tell everyone."
Levi said staring out the window.
"yes sir"
"Why?"
"Like you said, we don't keep secrets."
"Hm. Well. I should have made that rule a while ago. Maybe things would be different now."
"Excuse me sir?"
Levi turned around slowly.
"Pardon my asking, but,...you were in love with Petra weren't you?"
Levi was not looking at Eren. He didn't want to answer that question.
"Yes I was." Levi replied
"So much for not keeping secrets." Levi added.
Eren sat in thought for a moment.
"I'm sorry" Eren said.
"No need to apologize." Levi said as he turned around sharply. His back facing him once again.
"The past is in the past. We must learn to move on. If you look behind you, while walking, instead of looking forward, you won't see what's a head if you. " Levi didn't want to show any emotion. So he didn't.
"Hm." Eren said nodding his head, then looking down.
"You are dismissed."
Levi said.
"Yes sir."
Eren began to walk out the door.
"Jaeger?" Levi said before he could leave.
"Yes?"
".....we don't have room for romance here, so don't make it mushy and crap."
Eren smiled as his hand was in the corner of the door.
"Yes sir." Eren said has he closed the door behind him.
"The past may be behind us...."
Levi said as he walked closer to the window.
"But it doesn't mean, that I won't avenge your death..."

"What if they don't agree with it." Mikasa said.
"Don't worry. The only one that won't will be Jean." Eren said pressing his hand on her cheek.
Mikasa placed her hand on top of his.
"Fine." Mikasa said.
Eren smiled and they walked out of her room back down to the dining hall.
With no new mission at the time the team had nothing to do. Everyone looked quiet bored, but some how, Sasha and Connie always found a way to amuse them selfs. Eren went and sat down beside Mikasa they're fingers intwined with one another.
Connie was picking on Sasha by snatching away a loaf of bread she was eating.
"Hey!!! Give it back its mine!!" Sasha wined.
"Ha ha!! Got to be to quicker than that you-" Connies words were cut short when he saw Mikasa and eren holding hands.
"Hey hey hey. What's going on here?"
Connie said.
"Hmm??" Sasha says tracking his smirking gaze.
"Oooohhh Mikasas got a boyfriend!!" Sasha yelled.
Armin was still sitting there reading his book smirking. Everyone looked on over to see what Sasha was talking about.
"Yes, actually I do. Me and Eren are together now." Mikasa said.
Christa was holding her hand to chest in saying aww, Jean looked like he was going to punch someone or something, Connie was laughing, Sasha was smiling, and the only thing the rest of them could do was think my god finally.
"Really!??!!" Sasha says with a smile on her face. Eren nodded his head in response and gripped her hand a little tighter.
"Oh, that so sweet!" Sasha says.
"Pft romance! Gross." Connie said.
Sasha looked at Connie and smiled. Connie started to blush.
"What!!??" He says.
"Oh come on I know you don't feel that way! You like it!!" Sasha said.
"No-no I don't!!" Connie said.
"I don't believe you!" Sasha says moving closer. Once again making Connie blush. Mikasa and Eren started to laugh. So did Sasha. Making Connie glare at them.

Every one had went to bed a little early. Eren and Armin were sitting in his room. Eren fell asleep while Armin sat there and read his book as usual. He just decided to stay in Erens room a while longer and read. Eren was sitting in a chair beside his bed, still in his uniform.
"What am I going to do with you?" Armin said to him, sleeping.
A loud running and panting was heard outside the door and Armin sat and watched for a moment in anticipation.
"Who could still be up at this hour??"
Thump thump thump.
"Hello??" Armin said.
Just then Connie had bursts through the squeaky door.
"Sasha, she-she's gone I can't find her anywhere!!! Connie yelled.
Eren began to wake up. He rubbed his eyes and began to speak.
"What is it Connie?" Eren said quietly.
"And-and everyone!!! Everyone is gone!!!" Connie screamed again.
"It's okay Connie! Maybe they just all went outside for a walk?" Armin says putting his book down. unsure of himself.
"No I already looked!! Their gone!!!" Connie said.
Armin and Eren looked at each other puzzled. A little panicked. Eren began to walk towards the door in a fast pace. They left the room past Connie as he followed along. Armin and him were now running down then hall.
"Mikasa!!!" Eren began to scream.
"Are you there!!!" He screamed again. Eren ran into her room with the rest behind him. Eren swiftly opened the door hoping she would be on the other side. A chair was on the floor and things were scattered all over the room. But she wasn't there.
"Mikasa!!!"
All of the sudden, Behind them levi was standing in the hall. He had just come out of his room, bothered by all the noise. He was only in a pair of pants and no shirt.
"What is it you brats??"
"Everyone gone!!!" Connie said!!
"What?" Levi said.
"We can't find them any where!!"
"Who's left?"
"Me, Armin, Eren, and Hange and Erwin are in the conference room.!"
Connie replied a little out of breath.
Levi had no response. He wasn't quite sure what to say. Armin began to think again. He had in idea but hoped that this wasn't the case. He suddenly dashed down the hall.
"Not again!!!" Armin said to himself.
He bagan to run down the stairs.
"Armin!! Where are you going??" Connie said.
He jumped down the bottom stairs, turned down the corner, and ran down the hall. Not again, not again, not again!!!
He made his way to the basement where Annie was kept, a pair of keys were already in the door. Which was unusual. He opened the door as fast as he could and made his way down the next flight of stairs. Now standing infront of an empty cage. This time, he didn't scream, he didn't faint. He didn't make a move. But was already trying to think of where she was.
The rest came down after him, tromping down the stairs. They reached the front of the cage beside Armin.
"Again!!" Connie said, putting his hands on his head.
"Shit." Levi said. Looking angrier than usual.
"I won't let her escape.." Levi said turning around.
"Hey w-wait, corporal!! We don't have a plan!!" Connie said running after him.
Eren stood beside Armin.
"Come on we need to go help!!" Eren says running up the stairs, but when he didn't follow, he began to get worried.
"Armin...are you okay?"
"I'm fine." Armin says with a stern face. "Good. Come on then let's go."
Once again, that determination, rose up in Armin. He wasn't going to let her get away now. Levi came rushing out of his room in full uniform putting on his jacket. And Connie came out after behind him, in a heat of panic.
"Captain wait!! We, need, a, plan.!!"
Connie said.
"I have one!" Levi yelled.
"What is it!!!" Connie yelled back.
Levi didn't say anything for a moment and just looked at him.
"I'll make it up!!" Levi said.
"What!!"
"Listen to your superiors!!! And obey orders!!!" Levi said.
"You never gave me any!!!"
"Follow me!" Levi said as they walked towards to conference room. Eren and Armin followed behind. Levi pushed opened the door with force to find Hange and Erwin looking over a map on the table. They both looked up at them a little startled by Levi's sudden burst into the room.
"What is it levi? What happened?" Hange said.
"The female titan has escaped once again..." Levi replied.
A look of shock, took both Erwin's and Hanges faces.
" I also had suspected she had some accomplices, because everyone, except these three losers behind me, are gone."
Levi said.
"Hey wait a minute, Mikasa would never help her escape." Eren said with a little look of anger.
"Yea? I can't think of anyone that would help her? Do you think the rest were kidnapped?" Armin said.
"Hm, yes, that is also what I suspected." Levi replied.
"But wait, then that means that someone would of had to help her?" Erwin said.
Everyone was silent for a few moments. Who would help someone like that.
".....so......there is a traitor in our midst........" Erwin said.
No one replied. This was all too weird. How could someone do this? They all thought.
"I think I know who helped her..." Eren said.
Everyone looked over at Eren.
"Reiner and Berthrolt..."
No one seemed that surprised at what he said. They were both perfectly capable of kidnapping their teammates. They were very skilled, and two very large men. But that means that they would of had to use a lot of force to get Mikasa. She was practically untouchable. This thought angered Eren.
"But why?...." Armin started.
"Who cares!!! We need to find Sasha!!....Well!!!!! What are we waiting for??!!" Connie said.
"Come on let's go find them!!!!" He rushed out the door after that.
Everybody ran out after him. Down the halls, past the corners, and out the door to the stable. Everyone found their steads and waited for orders. Hoping this plan, whatever it was, would work. Out of instinct, the team immediately grabbed their 3D maneuver gear and strapped it on themselves before jumping on their horse.
"Alright, we are going to spread out, each of us and ride for about 20 minutes, in that direction. If you find anything, just call out. After that 20 minutes, we will come back to where we started. We have the disadvantage of the darkness, so everyone take a lamp with them. Just try not to burn down the forest. Are we good?" Levi said.
"Yes sir." They all said.
"Alright than let's head on out."
With that everyone headed out in their own direction. Eren was looking around, riding, and searching as fast as he could. Calling out Mikasa name in the darkness of a thick forest. The moon could be seen through the branches of the trees, seemingly guiding them. His lamp shined on his face as he held it above his head. The other hand holding the reins. The path was small, and the road was full of rocks. Everything seemed to look different at night. It wasn't as beautiful as during the day. There was a for certain and odd creepiness, in the forest that night. It also seemed like every tree was watching you, watching you run, watching you scream out their names. Watching you panic in the depths of the twilight. Eren was riding too fast. He was wanted to find her as soon as he could. But how can you find something, that you have no idea where to look. And at this late hour, the forest had the advantage. Eren horse pulled into a rougher road and down the path. Eren was panicking like he never had before. Please be okay, please be alive, Mikasa!! Eren thought to himself. He was screaming out her name as loud as he could. Not noticing where the horse had led him. His lamp moved back and forth along with his head, searching both left and right. He didn't know how long he was searching for. It could have easily bin 15 minutes or 2 minutes. He couldn't tell and didn't care, he wanted to find her. He was riding as fast as he could, The horse hooves hit a stray rock that was in the middle of the path, and went tumbling to its sides, luckily, not landing on Eren. He feel hard on his shoulder and was very startled. His lamp fell out of his hand and rolled around the dirt and underneath a tree, a couple yards away. Eren put his head up and looked around for a moment. Where could i be now? Eren was thinking. He got up and sat down beside his horse and examined its ankle. It was broken for sure. Just then, in the distance, he saw something red, flickering, a head of him on the trail. He looked up from his horse, grabbed his lamp, and started to walk in that direction. He slowly took out a sword from his maneuver gear. It was off path, and he sliced his way through the bushes and around the trees. His jacket got caught on a branch that almost seems like the tree grabbed him. Eren quickly took his entangled jacket out of the branch. Scared. He walked closer to the odd red thing in the distance and has he GOT closer, Eren realized what is was. A red scarf was snagged on the branch of a tree, blowing in the cool wind. Partially ripped and torn. Eren put down his lamp and quickly ran to grab it.
"No..." He said to himself.
"I-I-it couldn't be!!" Eren said.
But he examined it a little closer...and it definitely the one he had given her, on that day. Eren looked around panicking. His mind was spinning. Where is she??
"Mikasa!!!!" He tried calling.
"Where are you!!!" He called again.
"Mikasa! Mikasa!!" He gripped the scarf in his hand and held it close to his face. She couldn't be dead. She couldn't be! I love her to much for her to leave. I should have been there with her!! What's the matter with me!! Im so stupid!!" He thought to himself. Was his bad dream, coming to a twisted reality??
