A NEVERSEEN MEMBER:

Alvar was revealed to be a Neverseen member during the Ravagog attack. He had been part of the Neverseen for a very long time, since he was in Foxfire. His role was to pass on confidential information from Alden to the Neverseen. He also looked for Sophie in the Forbidden Cities and was later revealed to be The Boy Who Disappeared. He lost his memories for some time and was anti-Neverseen during that time but after regaining his memories, he rejoined the Neverseen. He was a part of Sophie and Dex's kidnapping as well.

SHOCK AND ANGER:

The information that Alvar was part of the Neverseen shocked everyone, especially the Vacker family. Fitz Vacker took this news with rage and since then, he has always been angry with his older brother. This incident also marked the start of the Vacker family's scandals, which includes Luzia Vacker's involvement with the troll hives.

THE BOY WHO DISAPPEARED:

Sophie Foster reported that when she lived in the Forbidden Cities, she saw a boy who disappeared in an instant. She recorded this incident on her childhood journal too. This was later revealed to be Alvar, who had used his Vanisher ability to disappear.

JEALOUSY:

Alvar was, and continues to be, jealous of his younger brother Fitz, "the golden boy". He felt that Fitz was more loved by his parents and deemed more outstanding than him. This is proved once more when his eyes softens when he talks to Biana from Fitz.

MEMORY LOSS AND REGAIN:

Alvar was injected with Soporidine and was found unconscious in Lady Gisela's Nightfall. After numerous probes by Telepaths, including the most powerful Telepath Sophie Foster, it was confirmed that his memories disappeared. He hated the Neverseen during that period of time (and even told everyone that he would play a part in tracking them down and capturing them). However, Vespera's voice had been the trigger for Alvar's memories - as soon as he had heard Vespera's voice, all of his memories returned and he rejoined the Neverseen.

FINAL NOTE:

Alvar continues to be a threat to the elves in the Lost Cities. He should be captured as soon as possible to avoid any other disasters brought to the elves, or worse, the entire population of the intelligent species.
