Pyrrha walked beside Coco and Velvet, doing her best to hide her smirk as they continued to tease Yang about the coming school year. Beacon started back up again in only a few days. Students would be arriving, awestruck by the grandeur of the academy and ready to learn. Her good mood threatened to turn sour at the knowledge of how their dreams would be dashed, but she focused on the present instead.

"Oh, and the exams!" Coco exasperated. "I thought I was ready for them but I was so unprepared."

Yang's pale face somehow drained of even more color. "Heh, I'm sure it's not that ba-"

"And the fights." Velvet added. "I was one of the best in my class before coming to Beacon. Now I'm maybe in the top fifteen."

Pyrrha rolled her eyes at the blatant lie. While it might have been technically true that Velvet wasn't top of her class at Beacon, that was only because she held back. When she went all out, even with just her Semblance, she was truly a threat. Adding her weapon in was just unfair most of the time. The glint of amusement in her eyes revealed her dishonesty, but only if you knew where to look for it. Yang had no such knowledge, and she looked like her entire world was crashing down around her.

"You two are gonna give her a heart attack." Pyrrha finally stepped in to help her friend, having to force aside her own amusement to do so. "Beacon really isn't that bad, the teachers are great, and you'll do fine."

Coco sighed. "Thanks mom, way to ruin the fun."

"Yeah Yang, you'll do fine." Ruby appeared beside her sister, the smirk on her face being a bit too close to her uncles for comfort. "And if you don't, you can always go back to live with me and dad. Forever!"

Yang looked like she was about to faint.

"If you three are done picking on her." Yatsuhashi stepped forward, and Pyrrha couldn't ignore the irony at the fact he had said nothing to help Yang during the entire walk. "We are here."

Pyrrha looked up to the building, one of Vale's movie theaters, and smiled. Movie night with Team CFVY had been something that she missed, between the fighting and the near death experiences, she hadn't had much time to sit down for multiple hours on end and do nothing productive. The last few days had been precisely the opposite, and she'd struggled to get anything actually done.

Coco had been determined to make up for lost time, and most of their break had been wasted thanks to Pyrrha; not that she'd ever say it. The result had been trying to pack four weeks of group activities into the plan of only a few days. It was fun, Pyrrha would willingly admit that, but it was also a tad bit exhausting. They'd spent the night before just staying in their dorm room watching movies, something that she very much enjoyed.

They had planned to do the same tonight, until they ran into Ruby and Yang; who were at Beacon to visit Qrow. Their Uncle, despite how much he loved them, hadn't had the time to spare, and asked Pyrrha to take care of them for a bit. She'd been more than willing, and once she'd mentioned who exactly it was, Team CFVY had been all for it as well.

Fitting five people comfortably into a dorm room was hard enough, but seven was pushing it. The result was a change of scenery for movie night, rather than staying in, they decided to go out. Pyrrha had been given a small bank account to make necessary purchases, from both the Headmaster and General Ironwood; funnily enough, both used the same explanation for why. Stating that she was at a disadvantage when it came to lien, due to having technically only been around for about two months.

She had tried to deny them, but they had both insisted, and now she had two bank accounts loaded to the brim with money that she had no idea what to do with. She'd long since grown used to not owning much, so she didn't have the urge to go on a large spending spree, and Coco had insisted on buying their clothes when they went out shopping the days before. In the end, Pyrrha had only one thing she could spend her money on; her friends.
