coming out

So the family was all sat at the family when Isabela asked Delores,
"So what made you go for mariano?"
"Oh well he's really nice and he treats his mother well and he looks nice,"Delores responded.
"Yea he does look nice not my type though," camilo said to himself quietly and without thinking.
There was a pause in the conversation. A long pause he looked up to discover everyone was looking at him.

"Well dinner was great but I think one of the mothers in town needs me to watch her kid," he said quickly, dashing out the door before anyone could question him.

It happened again three days later. You see the family had taken to playing games together as to stay close. They had played a few games and were now gossiping.
"So, camilo are you going to bring anyone to your sisters wedding,"Felix asked.
"Oh cami, you should bring Alejandro, I know you two have been getting close,"Delores said without realizing.
"I might but I dont think he likes me like that," camilo realized what he said too late and when he looked up he saw everyone looking at him again.
He knew he couldn't escape the house this time so without any explanation he just ran to his room.

"Delores! You can't just do that to someone,"mirabel had said disappointedly.

Pepa had followed him to his room and softly knocked at the door.
She heard sniffles as a small voice said, "come in."

When she entered she saw her son curled up in a ball leaning against a mirror. If she paid attention to his reflection she would see that his body was distorted.

"Oh cami"
"Mama, lo siento,"
"Oh its okay, it's okay," she shush as she sat next to her son and pat his hair.
"Mama, I don't think I like girls, I like guys," camilo whispered. He was terrified that she would disown him.
"Oh thats okay, I still love you,"she said softly.

"So tell me about this Alejandro." Pepa said with a smile after a bit of a pause.

Camilo laughed and proceeded to tell her about him.

<I'm not sure I'm happy with this but tell me what you think, I don't usually write about coming out since my coming out went badly. But I thought this would be fun to do.
