'This turned out to be a good idea'
Y/n sat at his desk looking ahead to the row in front. A few days had passed since Fujioka had been taken hostage from the host club and Y/n was loving the drama that came with it. So far Fujioka had managed to become an actual host and Suho was the last to finally figure out her actual gender. The whole situation seemed like some kind of anime with Y/n getting a front row seat.
Unfortunately, that blissful drama only came after the school day was done. Meaning Y/n had to sit in a classroom with nothing to do until then. Of course there was the option of listening to the lecture being given however, Y/n already understood what was being taught right now.
After a few minutes of staring at the trio who seemed to actually be paying attention, Y/n diverted his attention to a book of genius. Apparently the teacher caught sight of this and called out Y/n's name.
"Mr. L/n, what is so important that you decide to ignore my teachings for?"
This of course raised the attention of the said brunette who finally took his eyes off his book.
"I'm sorry Miss, you see I've been reading a really eye opening book. It is simply divine and I can't help but want to read more."
"Then would you care to share with us what this book is about?"
The brunette perked up, "Why of course my wonderful teacher! Why you see, this wonderful book is a guide to the afterlife. It offers many strategies on how to commit suicide. I've been researching so I'll know how to end it all during a great double suicide!"
The quiet whispers throughout the class came to a halt. The room was filled with dead silence with the words of one person. All eyes fell on the said person as he paid no mind to them whatsoever.
"Please hand the book over Mr. L/n, if you desire to get it back then please talk to me about it after class."
Y/n reluctantly handed over the book. He knew there wasn't any point in arguing about it, the teacher would probably give him detention if he did.
With that the class resumed the silent chatter, the teacher continued the lecture, and almost all acted like the earlier event hadn't happened. It was better that way, wasn't it? To ignore someone who might injure themselves rather than to get involved with a suicidal freak.
Nonetheless, Y/n sat at his seat and watched the teacher. About 20 minutes after the earlier incident, the teacher excused herself to grab some worksheets for the class.
Y/n took this as his chance to escape this classroom, he could always get the book back another time. He knew that this class was located on the second floor. So he did what any normal suicidal dude would do and ran towards the window. He slammed his body against it and could feel the glass breaking underneath the new weight. The window shattered and Y/n was sent flying out the window.
He knew it wasn't likely however Y/n was really hoping that would end it all. Unfortunately, he landed in a bush and came out unscathed. He looked up and saw the rest of his classmates crowding the windows. The brunette simply smiled and waved at the rest of them. Before any of them could say something, he walked away into the endless maze of a school.
--- After school ---
At the end of the school day, the host club opens their doors for customers. They never really expected for someone to be awaiting their arrival. It seemed fine at first, everyone slowly arriving at the club room. Helping get ready for the customers that would be arriving shortly. However, it seemed someone had beat them to cleaning the room.
Everything seemed spotless and all cups used previously were now washed and back in the cupboards. A certain blond had the idea it was a ghost and that the room was haunted however Kunikida 2.0 quickly shut that down after seeing a brunette lying down on a couch.
The club gathered around the couch to see the brunette's eyes closed. He had headphones in and seemed to be humming to a song that none of the group knew.
"Isn't that Y/n? How did he get in here, I thought the room was locked!"
A ravenette looked over at the female, "You know him Haruhi?"
"Yeah Senpai, he's in my class."
"Alright then, your correct to assume that this club room is locked. The only ones with a key would be the principle and myself."
"Then how did he get in?"
"I don't know, how about you ask him yourself?"
"Oh, have I become so popular that people are deciding to swarm me? Not to worry, a double suicide doesn't have to be limited to only 2."
Everyone's head whipped in the direction of the new voice. The brunette seemed to have finally noticed the company and took off his headphones.
"Y/n, how did you get in here?"
"You see my dear, a magician never reveals his secrets." Y/n grinned and handed her a flower pulled out from seemingly nowhere.
Haruhi deadpanned at the brunette and threw the flower aside. "Your not even a magician."
"And how would you know that? Have you been stalking me? I know that i'm dazzling but no need to track me down. If you wanted to die with me then all you had to do was ask belladonna."
"W-what? I don't want to die! You just don't seem like someone who's interested in magic."
"What a shame, I was sure you would have been the one Haruhi."
"While this is entertaining to watch, I still need you to answer some questions Mr. L/n." The ravenette gave a small grin that had the rest of the club knowing he wasn't for playing around right now.
"Eh? Another one thought I escaped your type when I left home!" Y/n started to look sullen as he looked at the alternative Kunikida. The rest of the host club were confused at the comment but brushed it off as something of his personality.
The male in question didn't falter and continued his pursuit. "You see Mr. L/n, this room is reserved for the host club and requires a key to enter. You however came in here without one which is considered breaking in. I'll have you know that my family owns a police department and they will be more than happy to get these answers out of you themselves." The small grin on his face turned somewhat sadistic as Y/n sulked in the knowledge that he couldn't escape this situation.
"Fine you big bully, it's simple, I just lock-picked the door like any sane person would."
"First that's not something a sane person would do, and second why were you even here? Class just ended and judging by the state of this room, you didn't just get here a moment before we did."
Haruhi piped up, "I can answer that Senpai, Y/n jumped out the window during class today while the teacher was out of the room. He ran away and nobody in our class saw him for the remainder of the day."
The tall blond shrieked, "J-jumped out a window??? Are you crazy or something? That could've killed or at the very least injured you!" He faced Y/n with an expression of worry mixed with fear.
"That's what I was aiming for, unfortunately today wasn't my lucky day," Y/n said this as if it were a normal thing to converse about which put a few members on edge.
"Well we can't let a suicidal student who's in desperate need of help go ignored, now can we Tamaki?" The ravenette pushed his glasses up his nose to give himself the presence of a scheming genius as he turned to Tamaki for his response.
"Your absolutely right Kyoya! We should transfer this fine gentleman into our club and give him a reason to live!" The blond pointed at Y/n and said, "Starting today, your now a member of the Ouran High School Host Club!"
