Both families operate their businesses from America, how ever it was not always like this in fact it only started 1 year before high school. Katsuki chose to stay in japan while Izuku moved with the parents. both families have tight ties with all pro hero's, but especially Aizawa that's because Aizawa and Hasashi where best friends from high school.
