When Powder got downstairs the whole group was present. Jumping out of her arms Kio transformed.

Powders face lit up."YOUR A KITTY CAT." She said excitedly. Vi looked over and glared.

"You spoiled our mission and fooled my little sister what the hell are you here for?"

Looking over the girl simply smirked."What can't I make friends." She asked turning to Powder.

"Yeah let her stay Vi!" Smirking she turned around. Vi looked over at her glaring.

"Fine keep an eye on her Claggor." She mumbled before leaving upstairs. Smiling Kio went over to Powder.

She had no idea what she got herself into when she actually befriended the small girl with blue hair but once she did there was no turning back.

Two weeks had passed and she visited everyday. Powder adored her but everyone else tolerated her.

At first it was just to annoy Vander and Vi with her presence. But she grew close to Powder.

She knew it was dangerous having someone she cared about so much. Especially in her profession.

She was only sixteen but she needed to eat somehow. Looking through her scope she spied on Powder as she explored the Lanes.

Well not spy on...look out for so to say. She was worried the little girl would leave and wouldn't come back for hours.

She then saw a large group of guys. Quickly she transformed into her cat formed and scaled down the walls.

Once she made it down she started walking next to Powder. Not that the little girl paid her any mind.

She didn't even notice. That's what scared Kio. She cared for the little girl so much if she were to get hurt.

She would not take it well. As she pranced along she noticed the men get closer.

Then Powder was surrounded. This made her still. One man smirked and walled towards powder.

"Dont make it hard little girl just strip." Kio immediately changed into a large panther.

The men jumped back. Powder looked at her scared before noticing her eyes. "Kio?"

Roaring the large cat swung at the men. Her claws tore their shirts and chests to shreds.

Then she lunged transforming mid air. Grabbing her pistols she flipped and started shooting.

The injured men fell like flies. "Close your eyes Powder!" Kio shouted. The little girl did what she was told but peaked every so often.

Kio was to busy fighting the men. Her lip was busted nose was bloody but she didn't stop not till they were down.

Once they were she walked over to Powder. Wiping off her face with her cloak she picked up Powder and started walking to the Last Drop.

"Im sorry that happened how about I treat you to some juice and colouring." Powder sniffled but nodded into her shoulder.

She felt her shoulder become wet and her guilt also flooded in. She should have been faster or tried to get Powder before they even got to her.

She should have done better.
