Chapter 9

Darren's POV.
I open the door of my flat. I look down the stairs and I hate what I see.

"Maxine." I scream.

She isn't looking like normal.

She is very pale.

Her eyes are shut.

Her sleek curly hair is a mess.

I phone an ambulance.

I hope my best friend is ok, if she's not I'll cry.

Dodgers POV.

I run to the flat and open the door that leads me to the stairs. I know my dad has a temper and right now I'm scared for Max. By the look on his face, he was ready to kill her.

I fall to my knees.

My lovers lifeless body is just there at the bottom of the stairs.

My best mate is already there, trying to help.

He tells me he's phoned an ambulance. I sigh. He's telling me that she's going to be ok but, I know that she's in a critical condition.

Garfield's POV.
I run to my mom's apartment. Peri's holding my hand telling me she's fine and that she just wants to tell me something and I can tell it's not just that. She does to, but because she's such a good best mate she's telling me everything's gonna be ok. I open the door.

"Mom" I wail. Dodger and Dazzle are there already looking over her body.

"Is she dead." I ask, nervously.

Peri gives me a hug.

"No Garfield, don't worry we've called an Ambulance and they should be here soon.

I sit down next to Dodge and Peri is next to me. I text mitz, she needs to know what's going on.

Call- g:Garfield m:mitzeee

G: auntie mitz, it's mom she's seriously hurt. She's needs you.

M: why what's happened, she text me a few hours ago.

G: she's been pushed down the stairs by Patrick.

M: I'll get on the next flight over there.
G: thanks auntie mitz love you
M: no prob Garfield love you too babes

Peri's POV (I know Maxine didn't text her but I thought as she was at the scene I should include her)

I grab Garfield's hand as we walk to the flats.

We open the door and what I see makes me upset.

The once bubbly and happy, Maxine was lying there lifelessly.

I reassure Garfield.

Although it doesn't reassure me.

I hug my twinnie as they tell us that she's gonna be ok and they've phoned an ambulance.

I need to text my mom and tell her what has happened

I jump on the next plane possible. I hope I'm not to late. Ugh I told her to stay away from Patrick when she was 13/14. Men never change. I've learnt that the hard way. I'm praying my sister is ok. That's all I can do.
