Preference #27: Your daughter brings her date home

Harry: He was watching him very closely, but over all he thought Jack was a nice guy. He seemed to really care about Darcy, so he looked like a good choice for a boyfriend, and he was very proud of Darcy for picking out someone so polite. "I'm just glad he wasn't some perverted jerk. That would've been...uh, awkward."

Niall: Niall didn't like the idea of a boy taking out his little princess Grace at all. The whole night he was giving Freddie the evil eye. Every time you saw it, you just laughed and tried to keep conversation going. At the end of the night, you punched him in the arm, and laughed "You are so over protective sometimes." and he just laughed back, kissing your cheek and saying "I can't help it! I have to protect my princesses."

Louis: You knew from the moment your daughter broke the news that Louis would give him the father talk. You know that talk dads give to their daughters boyfriends about what will happen if they break her heart? Yeah, that one. He took Jackson into the other room, and it went something like this, "There are many girls your age at your school, but you decided to pick my daughter, so let me make this clear, you break her heart, I break your face. Are we clear my boy?" Jackson just swallowed hard and nodded his head nervously. Needless to say you had nothing to worry about, since Penelope was just like her dad, and no one would hurt her.

Liam: He was completely respectful towards David, but he really wanted to tell him to stay away from your daughter. He didn't want Sarah getting hurt, an if she did by this guy of all people he would think it was his fault for letting it happen. Still, he kept his cool and made it through the night. He and David actually got along quite well. When he left, you giggled a bit and said "See, now was that so bad?" He smiled down at you and then scoffed. "Yeah, I guess he's okay. I just hate seeing our baby grow up."

Zayn: If there was an award for most over protective dad, it would be given to Zayn hands down. He wasn't that pleasant towards Tony when they first met. Zayn kept giving him dirty looks and rolling his eyes after every sentence he said. Eventually Tony asked if he could speak to Zayn in the other room alone. Once they were together, Tony sighed and opened up "I'm sorry Mr. Malik, but I care about your daughter very much, and she means so much to me. I would never hurt her, which you obviously think will happen. I promise you that I would never say anything to her to hurt her or anything like that." He told Zayn, which made him see that Tony cared about your daughter Hope. Once he left, you asked what happened. Zayn just smiled and said "Nothing much, but he won me over. I don't know about you."
