Preferece #68: You Defend Him (Liam)

You and Liam have been dating for 3 months now, and the fans just found out about you. They didn't take it well, because you definitely weren't Danielle. But they didn't know that you and Liam had been friends since they won their first VMA. He'd bumped into you backstage, literally. You'd been working there with the sound equipment, and when it was over, he went backstage to get his jacket and bumped into you, making you drop a bunch of knobs and stuff. You two stayed there to chat for a while, and from then on you were friends and then best friends and now dating. Today, he decided that he wanted you to go to a signing at the mall with him. You were going to meet him there after school (college). You bought the boys lunch, fast food, and headed towards the mall. When you got there, the guard didn't recognize you, and he made you get in line to see the boys. Whatever. When they're on a break, you could call Liam to come and get you out. Lucky for you, the line wasn't quite as long as you'd expected it to be. You got in line, the boys and your food in a bag in hand, and just waited. A couple of girls in front of you, two of them, turned around and looked you up and down. "Problem?" You asked sweetly. "How could you date that loser Liam? His voice isn't even near as perfect as any of the other boys'," one stated with a smug look on her face. "He's not even cute! I mean, he doesn't even deserve to be in 1D! He's nowhere near good enough." The next one states. That's when you notice that their CDs have Liam's face scratched out, they're had merch of all of the boys EXCEPT for Liam. And they'd bought gifts for every boy except for Liam. Ummmm no. You looked at them and smirked. "You really think so?" "Uh duh!" They say together. "WHO LOVES LIAM?!" You yell. "AAAAAAHHHH" every girl screams except for the two. "NOW THESE TWO GIRLS OVER HERE HAVE SOME SHIT TO SAY ABOUT YOUR AMAZING IDOL!" You yell and here some of them say something about hurting them. "I expected to get hated on, but not Liam. You're not going to meet any of them like that, you don't deserve to. You're no directioners. You're horrible. I'm not going to expose Liam to you two. You're worse than anything. And I can make sure that you don't get to meet any of them." You say in disgust. "Please don't! I have to meet Louis!" One of them pleads. "I NEED TO MEET HARRY!" The other cries. You march off, but not to get security. You walk into a store with 1D merch and buy 2 Liam bracelets, 2 Liam teeshirts, 2 new CDs WITHOUT Liam's face scratched out, and then you buy two presents for Liam.
You walk back to them and hand them the back. "Get one of each. Then you can go through the line. IF you wear that stuff. And you have to be nice to Liam. He loves his fans more than anything and he says it on a daily basis. He does so much for you guys, and you're being so fucking selfish. Get a life. After today, I never want to see you again. And I'm sure the boys won't either." You say in disgust. You call Liam and he asks the guards to let you through the line to him. As you meet him, he gives you a kiss and gets back to signing things. You sit down next to him, and admire how happy he looks. He glances up at you every so often and smiled a genuine smile that made your heart melt. Then the two girls came through the line, and did what you said. They even apologized to Liam and told him what happened. He looked over at you and kind of just stared at you for a while. Unexpectedly, he takes your hand and stares you directly in the eyes. "Thank you. You're really amazing." He smiles before kissing you. You laugh and blush. You'd made him happy and that made you happy. "Now lets eat!" Niall announces, throwing his pen down.
