A silent comes up. But Bucky breaks it. "You know what? You could take one of my shirts for the night AND my bed. It might be more comfortable. So you could get an better sleep. It would be fair."
You start laughing. "Are you trying to be nice Bucky Barnes?" You ask him as a joke. He rolls his eyes. "Y/N, I'm serious." There was it again, he said your name. "But it's okay if you don't want to sleep in the bed I am sleeping in. I understand but I beg you to take a shirt. So it's more comfortable." He continues.
You don't know what to say, but you'd like to say no.
"Bucky I-" you start, but Bucky interrupts you. "Y/N, please." He says. The way he said your name...
You know he wouldn't accept a 'no'.
"Okay.." You say. Bucky smiles. "Come with me." He says.
Bucky stands up and you follow him into his bedroom.
He gives you an shirt and he leaves, so you can change in privacy.
After you are done with changing, you look down on you, and of course the shirt is too big. You roll your eyes.
After that you turn around and take a look through his room. But you are still standing where you changed. Your eyes stop at the bed. It looks really comfortable and you need this.
So without thinking you are just crawling in there. You mean, it was his offer. So it's okay.
You lay down in it, and it feels so comfortable. It starts to feel so good that you cover yourself with the blanket.
Actually...
...u don't want to stay in that bed.
But...
... the smell of it...
... makes you feel even more comfortable, so you fall asleep really quick.
Even tho you don't want it to, but...
a little do you know inside that it smells like HIM...
...like the only person you ever talked with about your past.
That's why you feel comfortable.
And a little do you know inside, that this is, why you can't let go of that smell so easily again.
You don't notice how Bucky enters the room. His eyes catching you lying on his bed.
A smile is coming up on his lips.
He goes to the bed, but he doesn't lay down in there. No. He lays down , on the ground, right next to it.
He decided to sleep there because he wants to be near you.
Because he wants to be there for you.
He doesn't want you to feel alone when you have another nightmare...

...he knows EXACTLY how it feels.
