Y/n's pov

I stood there alone as Levi. I mean Mr. Ackerman had some urgent work.
My eyes laid on Armin and Annie again. They were dancing, Armin holding her hand.
It should be me holding his hand.
Then they started dancing he kept his hand on her waist.
I shouldn't be jealous.
I looked away, I bite my lip.
"Hey, y/n aren't you going to dance?" Ms. Hanji jumped scaring the shit out of me. "Umm Mr. Ackerman got some work so he left," I mumbled. "How sad Moblit's stomach got upset, so I'm alone too," She said in a sadistic tone.
"Why don't we both dance together" She suggested. "Not a bad idea!" I exclaimed.
She held my hand and we went to the dance floor. She kept her hand in my waist and another entwine with mine. We danced together playfully.
Then the song 'snowman' started, I and ms. Hanji sang it and danced.

I want you to know that I'm never leaving
'Cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing
Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons
So come on, let's go.

We both laughed as we just got bumped into each other.
I felt an arm on her shoulder, "Hanji, Moblit was searching for you" It was Mr. Ackerman.
"Ok " Ms. Hanji winked at me and ran away.

Mr. Ackerman brought his hand forward, asking me to dance with him. I nodded and took his hand. He gently put his hand on my waist. I first flinched at his touch but his touch was so soft. His other hand was tied to mine. I placed my free hand on his shoulder.

I blushed, "You were enjoying your dance with Hanji. Huh?" He asked looking into my eyes. "Yea... She was quite funny" I smiled looking back into his grey eyes.
"Quite funny?" He repeated my words.

Then the next song played, 'careless whisper'.
He pulled me closer, which made my eyes widen.

I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes.

Mr. Ackerman sang with the music, though it seemed like he was lip sync but his husky voice was audible.
I looked so shocked right now.
Our teacher, our fucking maths teacher sang a romantic song.

Calls to mind a silver screen
And all its sad good-byes.

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I'd been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

Damn, he was good at dancing too. His face was too close to mine, I could feel his breath on the skin behind the ear. The shiver went down my spine. His gentle trip around my waist became tighter.

Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd

Maybe it's better this way
We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say

We could have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But now, who's gonna dance with me?
Please stay

And I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend

I know you're not a fool
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I'd been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.....

"What about me, y/n? I didn't dance well?" He whispered in my ear, which made me shiver. I didn't say anything, just gulped.
I was so scared of him before and now I was dancing with him.

"Say something" he whispered again. I nodded in response. "Speak through words," he said in imitating voice. "Yes, you danced well" I looked at him, "Levi" I added.
His lips curled into a half-smile.

We didn't notice that we were the only ones left on the dance floor as everyone had first seen Mr. Ackerman dancing. Soon the music ended. But I was lost in Levi's eyes. I was still holding his shoulder and looking at him and he did the same.

Until I heard applause from everyone. Some even had their cell phones, to record a video.
I blushed and looked down. "Well done Levi!" Ms. Hanji exclaimed. I had millions of butterflies in my stomach I was nervous that my hands started shaking.
Levi rubbed my back, "you worried brat" He asked. "No... A little bit " I replied. "Excuse me, I'll go to the washroom" and I ran away.
