I breathe out heavily, pacing back and forth across our bedroom floor. Today is the day we are going to tell the kids about everything. I haven't been wearing my ring the past couple days just so they don't see but after today I get to wear it. Everyone else knows I chose Corbyn and about the engagement already. 

Corbyn walks out of the bathroom after his shower and sees me pacing, walking to me and grabbing my waist to hold me still. "Hey, Hey." He says softly as I look up at him. "It is going to be okay." He gently holds my face and caresses my cheeks, just the way he knows calms me down. I breathe out and lean into his hands, looking into his eyes. "It will be alright. Ivy will be ecstatic, that I am sure of, so you can cross that one off the list. Hazel is too young to fully understand anyways so that one will be pretty easy and if it isn't she knows me already, and it will be okay eventually. The other two, well you know me. I have that charm yaknow? I will win them over." He chuckles making me laugh abit and nod. "Okay.." I lean into him smiling abit. "Are you ready for this?" He asks and I slowly nod. 

"Come on." He kisses my head and walks out of our room. I follow him out and go to get some coffee when I hear a knock at the front door. "I bet that is Finn." I nod and walk to the door to open it. 

Finn actually moved out a couple days ago but the girls haven't really noticed since he used to stay at the office a couple days a month anyways so he could sort through payroll stuff. 

"Hey." He says, smiling softly at me. 
"How are you?" I ask softly but he shakes his head abit. "Some day Dani.. some day but...not today?" He looks around my face and I nod slowly in understanding. He's hurt and he's being civil so I won't push him, I know it's hard for him to even be here today. 

"Come in." I tell him, stepping out of the way.

He comes in and we walk to the living room just as Hazel walks in. "Daddy!!" She squeals happily and runs to him, hugging onto him as he picks her up. "Hi there princess" He smiles rubbing her back. 

She is used to this of course but she always acts as if he hasn't been home in years. "I missed you!" She holds onto him tightly and he chuckles abit. "You gotta come see! Look what I drew at school yesterday!" She tries to get down but he holds her.

"Wait wait." He gets her to stop for a second. 

"Daddy has to talk to your sissies and you for a minute with mommy and Corbyn. Is that okay? And then when we are all done then we can go look at everything and go play?" He asks and she nods laying her head on his shoulder just enjoying having her dad there. 

I can't help breathing out heavily and walking to the kitchen to get Corbyn. 

"Hey we are gonna go talk to the girls now I think." I tell him, wrapping my arms around him. 

"Now?" He asks, holding my waist gently. 

"Yeah I was wanting to talk to Finn first but Hazel ran out so we are gonna now. I'm going to tell the girls to come to the living room." I tell him, kissing his cheek gently. "Alright bub." He smiles and kisses my head before walking to the living room.
