A/N: Hello there! It's been so long, I don't even know how long it's been!  I'm so sorry about that, it's just that I haven't had inspiration for this story in so long... Until recently, when I watched 'No time to die'. What are your opinions on that movie? Anyways, I won't bother you with mine, but it did remind me of my story, and some new readers found my story too, I believe because of the movie. The movie coming out, combined with the new notifications from readers, inspired me to jot down another chapter, and here we are! I've always known where I wanted this story to go, but I'm figuring out the chapters in between. I hope that I'll update a bit more frequently from now on, we'll see!

In the meantime, I hope that you enjoy this chapter. I know that it's a filler chapter, but I would like to know your opinions, for I think it sketches the situation we left off on a bit more. Please let me know what you think, it means a lot to me. Enjoy!

"I see you

You see me

How pleasant

This feeling

The moment

You hold me

I missed you

I'm sorry

I've given

What I have

I showed you

I'm growing

The ashes

Fall slowly

As your voice

Consoles me

As the hours pass

I will let you know

That I need to ask

Before I'm alone

How it feels to rest

On your patient lips

To eternal bliss

I'm so glad to know"

I wake up with a hangover. I feel it before I open my eyes, and I groan at the realization. It had been a while since I'd gotten drunk, years even, so I had overestimated my drinking skills. When I open my eyes, I squint at the sunlight that enters through the window, since I forgot to close the curtains. Brilliant.

I manage to roll over and open my bedside table, and am relieved that I've still got a stack of pain killers at the ready there. I grab the water bottle that's always placed on top of the table, and quickly pop two pills in my mouth before washing them down. After that, I close my eyes for five more minutes, then decide to get up. I should probably head off to work.

Shit, M! I had been way too drunk around my boss for it to be appropriate. Hell, I'd even sat down in his lap! What the hell had I done?

Sighing, I get out of bed, and tug on the first clean clothes I find in the closet, being a forest green knitted sweater that was actually James', and a pair of black high waist, wide legged trousers. I put on my white sneakers, a beige trench coat, brush my hair and teeth, grab my purse, and off I go.

When I get to work, I waste no time, deciding to get the worst thing over with first.

"Morning, Rhine." Eve greets me with a knowing smirk once she sees the look of dread on my face.
