We reached the garage, where Daisy was known to be tonight, with Ghost Rider and parked the car in a secure spot outside the neighbourhood.

"You ready?" Phil looked over to me.

I sighed, and rubbed my stomach one last time before we went in, "I don't know, Phil." I whispered, "But let's get it over with."

He nodded and pushed the door open, stepping inside with my gun raised. I looked around at my surroundings, it looks like a poor garage. Full of broken vehicles, and an improvised office in the middle.

I looked back at Phil and nodded as I walked even further into the garage. An unsettling feeling in my stomach made me stop across the mobile office. I reached out for the handle, but hesitated as the feeling spread through my body. I looked at Phil, finding him staring to the darkness on my left side. A figure stood there in the dark, gaping at us with wide eyes.

"Daisy." I whispered.

The figure ran at me but disappeared as soon as it reached me, and soon, I was pulled into the mobile office by an unknown human.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Daisy furiously whispered.

"Daisy." I stared at her.

"Mom? What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here."

"I,-Daisy," I saw her face turn into a monster, was it my imagination or the reality? I walked backwards and out of the van. What's happening? I looked at Phil's worried face and walked over to him, "She's not here. Let's leave." What was I saying? She was RIGHT THERE. We walked away from the compound, against my will. What's going on with me?

"Melinda?"

"I'm fine."

"We have to go home. Fuel up. Tell the team and take a break."

"Okay." What was I doing? I didn't want to leave Daisy. She's right there!

We walked in silence till the car, "Can you drive?" I asked. He nodded and sat in the drivers seat as I sat in the passenger seat. Wanting to rub my stomach, I reached out. But couldn't do it. I couldn't physically touch my belly. I couldn't control what I was doing anymore. I couldn't assure myself that I still have one of my children.

We reached the Zephyr and I piloted us till the base.

"I'll be in the training room."

"Lin-"

"I know." I walked away from him and went to the sparring/ training room. Walking to the punching bag and taking off any extra layers, I was left in a black tank top and leggings. I started punching the bag. Left. Right. Right. Left. Left. Right. Right. Left. Left. Right. Right. Left. The pattern continued till Phil came into the room.

"May, there's something going on."

I raised an eyebrow at him as I looked through agents' cubicles. What was I doing?

"Someone is exposed to a ghost. One of us."

"A ghost?" It's me, isn't it?

"I need you to come with me to get tested."

"Phil,- Maybe that's not a good idea." Melinda, listen to him!

""Melinda, please."

I nodded and walked towards him, I let him hold my hand. Walking to the lab, I felt prying eyes on us. The baby bump! Melinda! Listen to yourself! Ignoring them, we entered the lab and I sat on the gurney. Simmons came in but her voice was in the background. Darkness covered my surroundings and I fainted.
