I laid in the hospital bed with the tiny human in my arms, Phil stood beside me with that smile on his face. The same smile I melt over every time.

I laid in the hospital bed with the tiny human in my arms, Phil stood beside me with that smile on his face. Ever since I met him, that smile has me feel different. I can't explain the feeling.

I held my hand out for Phil to hold, he followed. I looked up at him and met him in the middle for a kiss. I smiled, "I love you."

His face held the brightest smile, "I love you too."

I looked up at Phil and met him in the middle for a gentle kiss, I smiled. "I love you." His face froze and then he broke out into a grin. Unlike him, this had been the first time I said those three words to him.
Tears threatened to fall as he repeated the same three words to me.

"I love you."

The nurse entered the room, "You taking visitors?" She softly smiled.

I looked at Phil and nodded.

The nurse left and a few minutes later, Daisy and Maria entered the room excitedly.

"You taking visitors?" The nurse entered the room with a smile.

I nodded.

A few minutes later, Maria nervously entered the room with my parents.

"Hey, guys." I whispered with a soft smile.

Both of the women were softly smiling and gaping at the baby.

"Hey guys." I whispered with a smile.

Maria stood there gaping while my parents had a smile of their face.

"Want to hold her?" Daisy looked surprised.

"I never held a baby before."

"Maria can show you." I slowly moved over to sit up straighter so I could hand over the baby.

"Wanna hold her?" I looked up expectantly. My mother nodded while the other two stood there gaping. I slowly moved to sit up straighter so I could hand over the baby.

Maria carefully held the baby with a smile as she baby talked, "Hey, baby. I'm your godmother." A tear slid down her cheek and she looked up, "Your parents will be here in a few hours." I nodded.

My mom held the baby with the brightest smile I had seen from her, "Hello, I'm your grandmother." She looked up at Phil and me, "You did good." A tear slid down her face.

Maria handed the baby to, Daisy, who held her as if she were a China doll. She smiled, "Hey, little girl. I'm your big sister." She looked up and smiled, "Those two are your parents. We're not going to let anything happen to you."

Maria took the baby from my parents as she smiled brightly, "Hey, baby. I'm Maria." The baby silently cooed at her words. She looked up.

"What's her name?" Daisy softly asked.

"What's her name?" Maria softly asked.

I looked at Phil and smiled.

I looked at Phil and smiled.

"Skyler Jules May- Coulson." Phil softly said.

"Layla Chuju Coulson." Phil softly answered.

Daisy's eyes widened, "You- You named her after me?" Her voice was barely a whisper. I nodded as tears slowly slid down her face. She bit her lip, "Thank you."

I smiled.

Our tiny messed up family stayed in silence for the next few minutes. The door opened and my parents entered the room.

I smiled, "Meet your granddaughter."
