It's been six years
Genesis has had a crush on him for six years.
It can't be that bad right? What's not to like? She's athletic, witty, gorgeous. She looks like every protagonist in every coming of age movie ever. She IS the beauty standard. Genesis attracts male attention everywhere she goes. Every guy wants her but the only guy she wants is Harrison Fjord.
They've been friends since they were little and Harrison even said that she was one of his best friends not too long ago. Maybe he liked her more than just a friend. She would never know if she didn't ask.
After they graduated from high school Genesis went to school for marketing and now works for a high end fashion brand while Harrison went to school for business and inherited the family company after the passing of his late father.
Genesis leans into the mirrror to apply mascara.
Their friend group dissipated when they all went off to University. Everyone got busy and they could never found the time to hang out; tonight would be good. She'll get to see everyone again tonight at the Fjord industries benefit banquet.
Genesis is excited but also nervous for how things are going to go down between her and Harrison.
When she's finished getting ready she heads downstairs to strap on a pair of heels.
She's just reaching for the keys to her Benz when a notification chimes on her phone. It's a text from Harrison. Well... not FROM Harrison per say but the message reads:
A car provided by Fjord Industries is 7minutes away from the destination: 4556 Briercrest Ln NW
He sent her a car?
Maybe things would turn out better than she anticipated.
