"Does my bed have to be this close to his? And why can't I have my own separate room like all the other patients? I'll just keep asking these questions until you people quit ignoring me," I continued pestering the nurses.

  Silence yet again.

"You can't hold me accountable for what blackout me did! I don't even remember anything AND I apologized!" I whined.

  Silence.

"Fine. Guess I'll just use my quirk to move to a separate room," I sighed and lifted my hand.

  Knock. Knock.

"If you're another doctor, go away. And take these with you!" I huffed out and flipped over. Oooooooh not a good idea. Moved too fast. Ok, that's ok. Don't show signs of pain and they won't bug you any more then they already have.

"Yuri?" A soft voice called out to me from the door.

"M-Mom?" I flipped back around in a rush, ignoring the pain, and held my arms out immediately. "Mom!"

"Oh my baby!" She wailed and ran to wrap her arms around me.

"Miss you can't make any sudden moves! Your ribs are-"

"I don't care! Leave the room!" I cried.

"We'll make sure she doesn't over exert herself," mom told the nurse. With that they left the room. "Let's lay you back down. From the sounds of it, you're pretty beat up."

"Don't remind me!" I groaned and slapped my pillow against my face. "Stupid doctors and nurses have been treating me like I don't understand the severity of my wounds. As if I didn't feel my ribs being crushed by the creature that I was not prepared for like I thought I was. For some reason... I was distracted. Which isn't usual."

"Was it because he was there?" Mom asked softly and looked to Endeavor.

"He looks weird without the flames and the staff refused to give us separate rooms," I griped. "They say I need to minimize the stressors but they fail to realize he's one of them."

"How about I pull the curtain so he's blocked?" Natsuo offered, taking hold of the edge.

"It'll work for now," I nodded. "How are you guys holding up? You can see my state, but some of you are really good at hiding your emotions from me."

"You had us worried and scared!" Fuyumi finally spoke up.

"I'm sorry..." I hung my head.

"I thought we'd lost you," Shoto ran at me and flung his arms around my shoulders.

"Does it not hurt to talk?" Fuyumi asked.

"Oh it hurts," I grinned. "But they numbed my ribs so I can't feel all of the pain. It's just the rest of the impact I feel."

"Well you'll be happy to hear that you only need a few days of rest then you'll only have rehab for a couple weeks. School is the only thing you can participate in, but you will have to sit out on physical activities until you're cleared," mom smiled and rubbed my arm.

"Ughhhh. This is going to be the worst next few weeks of my life," I groaned.

"Don't say that!" Natsuo shook his head.

"Yeah. Your classmates will be by your side!" Fuyumi added.

"They're going to treat me like I can't do anything for myself as if I'm a baby. I'd have better luck going ahead and doing that now since I already can't use my quirks," I huffed and glared at the wall.
