Sayuri
The big day has come. We've all made it to Fukurōdani Academy except for Hinata and Kageyama. Those two have to pass their class then they'll be meeting up with us. Tanaka asked his sister to drive them here when they're done, so they'll barely be on time by cutting it close thanks to her.
"Yuri!!!" Bokuto ran over and pulled me into a tight hug. "I didn't know you'd be joining!"
"Surprise~!" I giggled and hugged him back. "Akaashi!"
I wiggled from the owls arms and ran for my stoic friend. He hesitated at first but accepted my hug nonetheless. I didn't expect him to squeeze me close to him and bury his face in my shoulder considering my height compared to his, but here we are.
"You've got to quit scaring me with those dangerous missions always showing on TV," he whispered.
"I'm sorry Akaashi," I whispered back. "If it helps, it's clones of me majority of the time."
"I don't care! How would I ever know which ones the real you or not when you go out into fights like that!" He argued. "Is this you a clone too? Or are you real?"
"I left a clone back at home. This is the real me," I assured him.
"Clone or not, I'd be happy either way because it'd just mean she's thinking about us," Bokuto said.
"Yuri???" Kuroo ran over, dragging Kenma along with him.
"Oh no..." Kenma squealed and quickly hid his game in his pocket.
"Kuroo! Kenma!" I ran to them and hugged them. I faced Kenma and started lifting his arms and moving his head around to inspect him. "You're slowly growing. You aren't skipping meals or anything are you?"
"Kuroo makes sure I don't miss any meals," he answered.
"You should be doing that on your own. Hand it over," I held out my hand for his game.
"But Yuri!" His eyes widened and glistened over.
"Today is about catching up! No games needed! Don't worry, I'll keep it safe and give it back to you when we're done! It's a promise!"
"O-Ok..." He reluctantly passed it over and I put it in a hidden pocket in my bag.
"I put it where nobody will find it in here. And it won't get broken either because there's nothing but blankets and clothes in here! The utmost safest place for it!" I smiled. "I'll make it worth it!"
"Why don't you ever willingly give it to me?" Kuroo asked.
"Because I'm his favorite and don't snatch it away! I just hold my hand out for it!" I stuck my tongue out at him then grinned.
"Ahem. Anyways, thank you guys for inviting us to practice with you. I hope you don't mind we brought Yuri," Daichi said and bowed.
"Practice is a good thing and we know Yuri here will be a big help as well. Given her own skills in the sport," Kuroo chuckled. "Will you be playing with Karasuno, Yuri?"
"Only if you guys will let me a few times!" I nodded vigorously. "I just miss playing and I promise I won't do anything too damaging. I'll even put on the weights to hold back some of my serves to make it fair play!"
"Why weights? And where would you even get them?" He asked.
I pulled out my second bag and grabbed the weights for my wrists and ankles out of it. "I always carry them with me when it comes to volleyball!"
"Oh? I doubt you'll need those. These guys are pretty competitive," Bokuto chuckled.
"Yeah well you guys haven't seen how much better I've gotten. Otherwise you wouldn't be saying that," I grinned innocently.
