"SHE'S A BEAUTIFUL GIRL!" THE nanny carefully picked up the newborn baby. "She's a girl?" The mother let out a warm smile and exhaled deeply.

"She's beautiful but, why is she so silent?" The nanny asked as she took a closer look at the baby. It was odd for a newborn to remain so silent. Could it be because this baby was mute? Oh gosh...

Mirae slowly blinked and opened her eyes, adjusting her eyes into a wooden apartment. Wait- Those things still exist now? Wow... It's my first time seeing these kinds of things!

"Oh no, she could be a mute..." An old lady gasped in a soft tone as if she was afraid that someone else would hear it.

Who are you, even?

Mirae stared back at the elderly and blinked a few times in confusion. Why was she so close to my face? Wait- She's carrying me? Am I even that light to be carried with such ease? You- What is going on... Mirae looked at the lower part of her body slowly, lifting her hand to see how much it shrank its size. Her arms were a little fatter.

"Why am I a baby?" She spoke but, whatever she heard was some gibberish sounds that babies make. Which unfortunately only scared her even more. Hearing a voice escape from the baby's mouth, the nanny felt a little better. However, the fact that the newborn was not crying at all worried her.

"Hello?" The nanny gently patted Mirae's hand, seeing if there were any signs of response.

However, Mirae was too stuck in her thoughts to even hear what the nanny said. Wondering why was she there, how did she get there, what happened before that, why was she like that, and where the hell she was. I can't remember anything or get an answer to any of my questions... Why?

It then came to a stop when all her frustration build up inside of her. When her pent-up emotions bottle was finally full, it exploded, causing her to let out the loudest cry ever.

━━━━━━━━━━━━ an hour later...

"Perfect. Your daughter is healthy and fine!" The old nanny cautiously placed Mirae next to her mother. The mother had many sweat bubbles still trickling down her forehead. She must have been overly exhausted from the labour but, she still let out a sweet smile when her eyes met Mirae's.
