Here it goes
----------------------
Who could ever forget that day. That beautiful morning of the 3rd of December. There was snow outside and, somehow, it was cold yet cozy and warm. The sun was shining brightly and the skies were blue. There were clouds outside, some were pure white which looked like cotton balls, while the rest was grey and dark, which showed that it would snow again.
That morning felt so good and overwhelming and I could barely open my eyes. Just then, I heard rapid footsteps approaching my bedroom door. I knew right at that moment that it was my assistant, Dr.Richard Greene.
This fellow was a retired, short gentleman with brown hair, brown eyes and a small mouth. He had a big round belly and a pointed nose. He wore an old, brown suit, which for some reason he loved and wore daily. This man was always impatient and confused at everything. However, he was the best assistant I could ever wish for as he was kind, understanding and had spent several years at military school during his teenage years and was the best of the best.
"Sir, I just got us a new case" he shouted while shaking my bed to awaken me."It is of Walter Roberts ! He is dead !" I suddenly woke up to his words as if someone had thrown iced water to my face. Then I threw my blanket onto the floor as I did not believe my ears.
Walter Roberts was a near and dear friend of mine. He was the oldest friend I'd ever had. We had been together since we were only 6. He used to live in my neighborhood. He was rather tall with grey eyes and a solid body. He always kept his health at his priority and would never let anything interrupt his workout sessions. Over the years, no matter how busy he got, he remained the same.
"What?" I exclaimed
"Who would do such a thing?"
He was the nicest person I had ever known. Even in the days when he had very less money only to eat, he would give half of it to charity.
"Nobody knows, sir, that's why we are appointed by Mrs. Roberts to solve this case." Said my comrade. I quickly went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I didn't bother to wear anything nice and just took the first thing I got on my 'mountain' of suits. I ran my hands through my hair as it was so messy and went straight to a gig which Greene had already prepared.
I was on my way to the Roberts mansion.
