This will be a short story that was requested by @D_dhanu for Aditi's TaeJincember book.
It isn't exactly like she asked for but I hope she likes it just the same.

When Jin and Tae left Jungkook alone, he nervously went to answer the door.
He saw Jimin standing there, looking at him with a big frown. He doesn't wait to get invited in and walks past him inside the house.
Jungkook gulps and closes the door, walking at a snails pace towards where Jimin stood.
"Do you know why I'm here?" Jimin asks.
Jungkook tried to play dumb and shakes his head 'No' before Jimin scoffs.
"Really? You have no clue why I'm suddenly here?"
Jungkook shakes his head again.
"I have come to learn that you are a reaper! Is that right?"
"I.." Jungkook stops what he was about to say, then nods.
"What the hell? Ok, put that aside for the moment.
But is there like some sort of rule that says reapers can't date? Or to have a relationship? We have been seeing each other for a while now. And it never occurred to you to tell me this?
Do you have any idea how far I've already come to care about you? And I feel like you're just leading me on. Tell me... What do you say about what I just confessed to you?"
Jungkook looks down at the floor, unable to face Jimins eyes right now. And breaks his heart regardless.
Jimin rushes out of the house angrily and in tears but Jungkook just lets him.
He begins to cry when he hears the front door slam shut. And walks towards his room.
He passes Tae's room along the way and decides to enter.
He sees several ancient rolls and slowly opens one at a time.
But he then spots one in a corner that looks well preserved. And when he pulls it out and unrolls it, he is immediately affected by it.
He starts to cry uncontrollably once more as he looks upon the portrait of Jimin wearing his royal attire. Only slightly younger than now. Jungkook then gets more flashes of the past.

Flashback
He sees a young king who is looking very angry as his trusted eunuch whispers the latest news about the General. He stomps away angrily to search for his beloved spouse. He finds him in their bedroom.
When Jimin first saw him, he began to smile widely, seeing the man he loves. But as he sees how angry he looks, he starts to back away slowly.
The king walks closer to him and can see how scared his spouse looks. That even tears are forming in his eyes.
"Do you know what your brother is planning against me? Against the crown! Or were you in on his plan from the start? To make me fall in love with you so he could try to push me out of the way?!" Jungkook asks as he grips onto Jimin's arms roughly.
