Adalyn's P.O.V:
I dropped my hand to my side after dad and I finished our handshake. "So," Dad started, looking off into the distance. "you up for some hand to hand combat?"
I smirked as I saw three familiar figures emerge from headquarters. "Yeah, and I have a pretty good idea on who I want to spar."

I watched as I put Eren on his ass again. "Ow." He said as the dust from the impact of him hitting the ground hit my nostrils. I put my hands on my hips and sighed. "Aren't you supposed to be the almighty Eren Jaeger, humanity's last hope?" Mikasa and Armin both shrugged as I turned to them. "Well, you are Heichou's daughter. We'd expect nothing less from you." Mikasa admitted, turning to Armin for backup. Armin just nervously cleared his throat. "I've never... Seen that stance before."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "My stance? My mom taught me how to fight. I think." I said uneasily as I put my hands up and awaited for Eren to get up again. [A/N: Adalyn's stance is exactly like Annie's fighting stance]
I felt a hand being laid on my shoulder. "Adalyn. Let the boy breathe. You should work on battling opponents who are at the peak of their strength, not ones who have been weakened." I felt Commander Erwin's face approach mine from behind. "Plus, if he's at full strength, Jaeger shouldn't have an excuse as to why you beat his ass."
I set my hands down and smirked. "Fine. Eren, let's spar tomorrow evening. I've got a meeting to attend to with my father anyway." I commanded, turning on my heels and making my way towards headquarters.
"See you guys later."
*time skip*
I walked down a long corridor with dad by my side. I fidgeted slightly, not sure how to compose my words. I knew that dad was expecting an elaborate story on the triumphant survival of my childhood, but the truth was, I didn't have one.
I'm not even sure about my age.
Dad gave me a look as I nervously turned to him. Giving him a weak, yet reassuring smile, he pursed his lips and began to speak.
"So... I'm not going to hold back anything. As we walk towards the mess hall, I'll give you every piece of information that I can give to you. Which is all of it." Dad said honestly, rubbing my shoulder as if he were trying to reassure me on something. I winced. It wouldn't be fair to him if he told me about mom. I couldn't hold up my end of the bargain, so, I guess mom will have to wait.
I cleared my throat, catching dad's attention. "I'm going to be honest with you, dad. I really don't know how I survived." I confessed as dad just stared at me with an "are you kidding me" look on his face. I sighed, continuing my statement. "All I remember are... Flashes of memories. Running through the forest, sitting by a river... But nothing... Drastically crisp in my brain. It's almost as if I just kind of... Woke up in a sense."
We reached the mess hall just as I finished my sentence. Sitting down, dad fetched us some tea. I began to lose myself in thought as this went on.
I wasn't lying to him. I really don't remember how I survived. I just kind of... Woke up. That's all. And all I remember was my goal. My goal to find dad.
Dad reentered the room and furrowed his eyebrows, then sighed. "You don't remember anything, huh?" He said, looking downwards as he set a hot cup of tea in front of me. I shook my head. "Nothing." Silence then filled the air. I was about to say something, then Hanji burst into the room.
"Adalyn. Levi. We need to talk."

Levi's P.O.V:
Hanji pulled us into my office, a deranged, hesitant look on her face. I turned to Adalyn, who's emotional appearance was nothing short of stoic. "What's the big deal, shitty-glasses? Couldn't you have seen that I was in a conversation with my daughter?" I asked flatly as Hanji just looked into the hallway, her head lurching from side to side as she shut the door. "Your daughter is what we need to have a conversation about."
Adalyn just looked at me, confusion written all over her face. "Um... Did I do something wrong?" I asked as I began to recall the possible things I could have gotten into shit for.
Hanji shook her head. "I know why your memories are a blur. I know why you fight like that. I know what you are." Dad and I exchanged looks. "W-What I am? I'm a human!" I said as Hanji just shook her head in response. "That's what you think. But in all reality... You're..." She murmured, trailing off. I leaned over in suspense. "I'm a what?"
"You're a dormant titan."
-
Levi's P.O.V:
No. It can't be. Adalyn can't... That's impossible. My daughter, a dormant titan? It can't be. It just can't.
Adalyn turned to me. "What... What is that?" She whispered, trying hard to keep her stoic expression on her face. My lips quavered slightly. "A... A dormant titan is..."
"A titan that has to die before they transform."
