They are currently eating dinner when Bongbong opened up about publicizing his niece since no one else knows that his sister Irene has an Unica Hija except for them. "So, what's your decision ading? I can do ways to publicize her existence—" Irene cutted him off

"Like what?"

"Making a vlog with her?" He shrugged. They were all looking at each other.

"Kuya, huwag na" She coldy replied.

They looked at Celestine except for Irene. She's busy with her food while Celestine's expression was a mixture of sadness and disappointment.

Feeling like she isn't important to be publicized. It hurts her so much.

"Ayoko na po.." Celestine shyly said even though she didn't finish her food that's on her plate yet.

She run as fast as she can, making her way to her bedroom. She locked the door so no one would know that she's crying.

They're now looking at Irene with disappointment in their eyes. "What? May dumi ba yung mukha ko?" She innocently asked, as if she doesn't know what she did.

Her mom Imelda, hardly sighed. "Anak, you should've not answered Bongbong like that, especially Celestine's here as well. She was hurt."

"Mama, is it my fault that kuya opened that topic while we're eating? You all know that I'm a very private person—

"So, even your daughter isn't an exception? There's nothing wrong if you let Bonget publicize Celestine. She's a part of our family! And for what you've said earlier? I'm sure she felt left out."

"Mommy, I'm just protecting her!" Irene shouted a little.

"From what?" She frowned.

"F-from the hates she'll probably get! There's millions of people here in the Philippines who hates us ma, For sure she'd be hated too! Ako ngang walang ginagawa e binabatuhan na nang masasamang salita, pano pa kaya yung anak ko? Once they'll know that she's a Marcos, her life would be as traumatizing as mine and I don't want that to happen. I'm also protecting her peace! So please? Just respect my decision."

"Decision that will hurt your daughter so much?" Her older sister, Imee sarcastically asked just to make her realize what her decision will end up into.

"Why would it hurt her?!" She tried to calm down and not to raise her voice to anyone on the table but she failed to.

"Don't you know what if feels to be hidden? Will you hide her forever? Irene can't you think about her feelings? She's overthinking now, sigurado. Asking herself why wouldn't you want everyone to know that she exists."

"I will explain it to her naman, manang e! Ano ba? Stop trying to make me realize all the things that's on your mind right now. I just want peace for my daughter's life! Hindi niyo ba yun naiintindihan?"

"Magugulo ba ang buhay niya kapag na-publicize siya?!"

"Yes." She walked out of the dining area but for some reasons, everything that they've said was echoing everywhere.

As she got in their room, she immediately lay down on the bed. Thinking deeply until she fell asleep without changing into her pajamas.

She woke up because of what she have dreamed. Nagkahiwalay daw sila ulit ng anak niya dahil sa isang maling desisyon. She was relieved when she realized that it was just a dream. But somehow, she still thinks about it.

She stood up and went on their balcony. Not knowing that her husband followed her. She startled when someone hugged her from the back but smiled after knowing who was that person.

"Hon" she broke the silence. "Hmm?" her husband, Greggy whispered. "Is it a good idea to publicize our daughter? I-i mean, I know na madadamay siya sa gulo." Her voice really tells that she's concern about her daughter.

"She's young pa and innocent, siguro naman walang mangbbash sa kaniya, hon" Greggy answered.

"Kahit na inosenteng bata pa 'yan kung anti Marcos ka, sisiraan mo pa rin." She took off Greggy's hands that are wrapped on her waist but he putted it back right away.

"You know what? Let's just sleep, hon. Kakausapin na lang natin bukas si Celestine. I know she'll understand it naman if we explain not to publicize her."

They were about to go back inside their room when Irene saw her daughter sitting by the pool. Splashing the water so hard like it was the person who she hates so much.

Irene decided to go down. She sat beside Celestine and leaned her head on her daughter's left shoulder.

"Why?" Celestine coldy asked, avoiding her mom's gaze. She's acting strong and brave even though she already feels weak inside. Holding back every tears she can just to look courageous in front of her mom.

"Anak.." Irene held Celestine's left hand and clasp it with hers. "First of all, I love you....more than you know. I-i just wanna protect you. You're my unica hija and I can't afford to lose you again. I cannot try to look at you crying because of the hates you'll probably get. I'm protecting you from those so please try to understand it."

"But I feel unloved! My cousins, and my siblings are publicized too then why when it comes to me, bawal? I'm trying to understand your reason 'ma but it hurts a lot! Kahit na paulit - ulit ka pang magpapaliwanag, pareho pa rin yung sakit na nararamdaman ko. Hindi yun nadadagdagan o nababawasan. Ganun pa rin! Yung feeling na ayaw kang I-publicize ng mommy mo, it's like you're not proud na anak mo ako, mommy!" Celestine can't stop herself from shouting even though it's her mom she's shouting at 'cause she has anger issues who's controlling her for years. She left her mom outside, and continued to cry in her room..

Irene, on the other hand was crying too. She didn't know that she's hurting her daughter already by her words. She's regretting it all and started to overthink. They're both overthinking.

The next day, Irene woke up early to make breakfast for her daughter so that Celestine would be relieved somehow. She cooked her favorite malasado egg and fried rice. She also made her a milk.

After that, she went upstairs. Celestine's room isn't lock which made her shock. She still knocked, of course to get her daughter's consent for going in her room. No one responded that's why she just opened the door and saw Celestine peacefully sleeping on her bed.

She showered her with kisses on her face.

"Good morning, my sunshine. Wake up! I cooked you breakfast that for sure you will love. We'll talk after eating.."

"Hmm" Celestine yawned and turned her back on Irene. "Hey, wake up na.." she fixed her hair. "Ang aga aga pa mom, five minutes pleaseee!" She pleaded. Irene nodded naman, and waited for five minutes then she wake her up again.

"Sweetheart, your five minutes is already done. Come on, wake up na or I'll tickle you, bahala ka diyan....One...."

Celestine faced her because she doesn't wanna get tickled. "Cuddle, mommy please? Promise I'll eat na after natin mag cuddle." Irene was touched of how sweet her daughter is despite their misunderstanding last night.

They cuddled for ten minutes. They stopped when they suddenly thought of the food.

"Papayag na ko." Irene uttered while Celestine was drinking her milk. When she finished her milk, she immediately hugged Irene and sat on her lap, facing her. "I love you.." Irene whispered

"I love you too mommy!" She said in exciting tone. The sadness she felt yesterday turned into happiness!
