I arrived at the summer camp, and was floating near a tree. I watched as the children talked and laughed with one another. A big one even threw tomatoes at the others! I wasn't focused on them right now though. I was focused on a small, blue haired child who looked to be about 6. They were off to the side, away from the other kids. From reading the child's mind, I found out that they were trying to eat a bug? I shook my head. I might be an inter dimensional chaos God, but I'm not a complete monster. I floated down to the ground behind the tree. My feet landed on the spongy green grass as I was engulfed in blue flames. Luckily, no one else saw this happen. I was no longer a formless triangle, now I was a meat sack like the rest of them. I was human...ish. I still had all my powers, except for the small detail that I can get hurt now. I walked over to the child, watching them as they picked around in the grass. Something about them fascinated me. It seemed so innocent. I shook my head, pushing those wholesome thoughts aside. I am not here for that. I stood in front of the kid and bent down. I held their hand, tight enough to restrain it from moving but not tight enough for it to hurt them. I tossed the bug back into the grass where it belonged. "Oh uh. Hello Sir!" They bowed down, tipping their hat. I stood up straight again, looming over the child although I didn't mean to. I smiled. "I'm Eli! Who are you?", the kid asked. I wasn't really prepared for this question, although I should've been. Should I tell them who I really am? Or should I make up a fake name? Leave? Tell them a part of my name? I really didn't want the fact that I was alive and well to get out to the public...yet. "I-I'm...I'm Bill! Bill uh...Bill. Just Bill." I chuckled awkwardly, hoping the kid didn't pick up on how sketchy I was acting. As I was thinking, I noticed that the child had starting floating in front of me. I grabbed the child mid air and set them back down onto the ground. They held out their hand to shake and I cautiously shook. This kid didn't even seem human. But that was okay. I looked around, scanning for an adult. I noticed that the blue hair was covering the child's second eye. I reached down to move the hair out of the way, and did just that. But instead of finding a second eye, I found scars, stitches and scabbed skin. The child looked embarrassed until they looked up again and saw my eyepatch. "One eye buddies!" They squealed. I looked down at the adorable little monster. Adorable? Bill get yourself together! It's a child, a soulless screaming beast. I shook my head, smiling and taking the hand of the small being. "Who's in charge here? May I speak with them?" I asked.
"Oh David is the camp councillor. I'll take you to him!" Eli said. And with that, I was now officially stuck, being dragged by an 8 year old child. I had no idea why or where the affectionate feelings were coming from, but I allowed them. It felt strangely nice. As I was being tugged towards this David human, I spotted Pine Tree and Shooting Star. They didn't see me thankfully but I still needed to be cautious. I spotted the person that Eli was taking me to. David was handsome, although he didn't really dress very well. Me, on the other hand looked brilliant if I do say so myself! I was dressed in a tailed coat, with a black outside and a yellow brick pattern on the inside. I wore my signature black hat and bow tie, with my black buttoned white undershirt. I had spiky, wild golden hair that was black at some of the tips. I also had a triangular eyepatch, to cover my lack of a second eye. My yellow black cane had expanded to fit my stature, and it matched my black pants and even blacker boots. On the other, other hand...Eli was more casual. They wore a black top hat and cape, both with a single greyish white strip. They also wore a pale yellow hoodie, grey tights and black boots. We reached David eventually, and he noticed me after Eli poked him several times. I found it amusing how humans can have such easy relations with one another. "Ah, hello! Who are you and how can I help?" David answered, cheerfully.
"I'm Bill, and I was sent here by Camp Corp!" Good excuse Cipher.
"Just Bill? No last name?"
"Nope. Just Bill."
"Okay then! Who am I to judge? Let's introduce you to the kids!" He said, gesturing me to follow him. I picked up Eli and followed the tall man, who was only about 3 inches shorter than me. I don't know much about human measurements, but I looked to be about 7 feet tall. I hoped no one found that abnormal...
We entered the mess hall and oh man...it was definitley living up to it's name.
